Every good thing

Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.

Generosity

God, thank You for all the blessings You have given me. I want to live a life that honors You and is generous with what I have. Guide me to opportunities where I can fulfill others’ needs with my time, my energy, and my finances. Help me to serve those around me with a generous heart—a heart that reflects Your nature. Use your gifts and talents to glorify God

God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.

God, thank You for uniquely creating me to serve You. I want to use the gifts You’ve given me to bless You and Your people. I want to be a faithful manager of all that You’ve entrusted to me. So please show me how to use my talents to serve others and glorify Your holy name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God’s Perfect Love

Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.

Jesus, thank You for Your perfect love. Because You are more than enough for me, I know I have nothing to fear. Thank You for reassuring me of Your love each day. Thankful for God's Blessings

In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!

let Jesus fill your life

Jesus, thank You for Your life on earth. Thank You for giving us access to Your wisdom, guidance, and teachings. As Your followers go through life together, help us to encourage and remind each other of Your Word. Thank You for giving us the opportunity to worship and praise You together. Amen.

Pray Continuously

In times of waiting

God, thank you for being present and with me, even now. Although sometimes it feels like I'm still waiting on what's next, I know You have a good plan for my life. Give me eyes to see

God, I can not even conceive the expanse of Your love or the unique plan You have for my life. Please fill me with Your wisdom and understanding. Give me eyes to see people the way You see them- with love and compassion. In Jesus' name, Amen.

The master physician

He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.

Heavenly Father, You know that whether it's a broken relationship, shattered expectations, the loss of a loved one, or loss of a dream brokenness hurts. God, You are the master physician that we can bring our brokenness to. Father, we ask for Your healing. In Jesus Name, Amen 

Be teachable

People who accept discipline are on the pathway to life, but those who ignore correction will go astray.

God, give me a teachable heart and fill me with humility. I don't want my pride to lead others astray. Place people in my life who will help guide and correct me using Your Word. Please show me how to accept correction and have a teachable spirit. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Guide us Lord

Breakthrough

Jesus, thank You for sending Your Spirit to be with us at all times. Because You are with me today, I know I can have freedom in every area of my life. Holy Spirit, help me break loose from anything holding me back. Only You can define who I am—and because of You, I am no longer restricted by painful things in my life. Amen.

Truth in love

Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.

God, please help me to love others through my actions. It’s because of Your love and the act of sending Jesus to us that I am able to love others. Help me to honor people in my life through words, deeds, and actions. Please provide me with opportunities where I can serve others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Salvation is in Christ alone

‭Titus‬ ‭3:4‭-‬5‬ ‭NLT‬

But— When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.

Jesus, we know that You are the only way to eternal life. Salvation is possible only because of Your grace, mercy, and love for us. There is no one else like You. Help us to focus our attention on You, and not allow distractions to overtake and discourage us from what You offer. Amen.

Grace

So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

God, please show me how to approach You with confidence. I know that You care for me. I know that You love me, but sometimes—I doubt my worthiness. Please replace my doubts with bold assurance that I belong to You, and You long to hear from me. Here I am—please help me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love like Jesus

Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.

Jesus, thank You for loving Your people—for teaching us how to live a God-honoring life and sacrificing Yourself so we could live eternally with You. Trust

God, I believe in You. No matter what comes my way, I believe You have overcome the world. Even though trouble is ever-present, You are my constant source of peace. You surround me and protect me. Nothing is too difficult for You to accomplish. I will praise You because You are the One in whom I trust—You are in control. Amen.

Be gracious

Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone.

God, teach me to use my words to show grace, kindness, compassion, and mercy toward others. Let my words bring life and draw people closer to You and Your love. Use me to bring Your encouragement and hope to people who desperately need it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A light in the darkness

Honoring God with faith
