Celebrating God

God, I believe that You are able to make all things new. You are able to mend division, restore brokenness, minister to the weary, and heal the sick. Nothing is too difficult for You. You are worthy of all my honor and praise. No one compares to You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thanks for God's Word

God, You give us Scripture so that we can know You better. Your Word is not meant to be a list of instructions but a way of life that leads to You. The more time we spend in the Bible, the more deeply we know Your character and nature. Thank you for revealing Yourself to us in this way.

Perseverance

Father, thank You that I am not alone. You are with me, and I'm not the first one to face these challenges. I'm not giving up. Strengthen me. I want to run my race well. I'm throwing off everything that hinders and running to You. Thank You that You meet me here. Amen.

Reflect God

God, I want my life to testify to Your goodness and grace. Refocus my heart on You. Help me pursue You first, above all else. Nothing in life matters more than bringing glory to You. Show me who I need to share You with and give me boldness. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Stay on guard

God, I need You. You have given me everything I need to live a godly life, but this doesn’t mean it’s easy. Please help me to not waiver in my faith. Help me to be on guard against any attacks or lies from the devil. Give me the courage to live for You every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Shine

God, show me how I can shine for You. Let my life be bold and bright as I share You with those around me. Give me the courage and awareness to stand for You even when things seem dark. Thank You for being our perfect example and the Light of the World! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Desiring God

God, I truly want Your presence to overwhelm me right now. I feel tired and worn out by the news and everything happening in this world. I release my problems to You and embrace Your peace. Fill my thirsty soul and satisfy me like only You can. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Live with love

God, thank You for showing every generation throughout history the same unconditional love. You are constantly inviting us to experience intimacy with You. What a beautiful gift that is! Today, no matter what I face, help me to love others like You have loved me. Let my life be evidence of Your love at work in the world. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Changed perspective

Jesus, You showed me what true humility should look like. Thank You for Your kindness and grace toward me. Please show me how to have the same attitude toward others that You had toward me. Teach me to love people unconditionally and sacrificially—for Your glory, and their good. Amen.

Unity

God, I am so thankful that You have united me to a community of believers who love You! Please help us to remain united in times of disruption and difficulty. Continue to unite believers all around the world so that we can share Your good works and faithfulness with others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Iron sharpens iron

God, thank You for Your Word, which reveals areas of my life that desperately need Your correction. Send people into my life who will walk with me and sharpen me, as iron sharpens iron. Guide my tongue, so I speak with loving truth and intention to others. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Community

God, thank You for creating me to live in community with others. I’m grateful that I don’t have to go through life alone. Please put people in my life who will pray for me during hard times and celebrate with me during good times. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A prayer for women

God, today I'm thinking of a woman I know who lives her life for You. Protect and guide her. Fill her with Your strength and hope. I pray she finds her confidence in You, not in the physical beauty standard of the world. Give her wisdom and perseverance as she lives for You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Draw near to God

God, thank You for allowing me to call on Your name! Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to rescue me from a life separated from You. Today and every day I choose to draw close to You and to seek You with all my heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Patiently waiting on God

Loving others better

God, because You love me, I want to love others better. It can be so hard to love others the way You love me. I can feel jealous, angry, hurt. In these moments, help me to remember that You are with me and Your love strengthens me. Regardless of how I feel, help me to love others well. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love others fully

God, thank You that Your love is perfect. You are kind. You are good. I cannot love others well without Your power. Help me to face the areas of my life that aren't marked by love and take bold steps toward forgiveness and healing. Amen.

Love like God loves

God, You are the model of love. Help me show love to others as You have shown it to me. Let my actions prove that I love You, and that I love the people You created. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's Word

God, thank You for giving me a way to know Your character, nature, and will. Your Word is truth, and nothing can compare with it. I don’t ever want to take Scripture for granted. Help me to prioritize meditating on Your Word, because it has the power to change my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Courage

God, thank You that no matter how hard life is, I can always find hope in You. You will never abandon me, never stop loving me, and never give up on me. Renew my hope and strength. Encourage my heart, so I can encourage those around me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Not giving up

God, thank You that You know exactly what I'm facing. You understand why this is challenging for me. I'm so grateful You love me and want to fill me with Your strength. I need it. I am relying on You! Help me receive Your strength and keep on going! In Jesus' name, Amen.

A quiet life

God, thank You that Your desire for me is simple: to trust You and focus on what You've put in front of me. Help me let go of comparisons and let go of any busyness that doesn't line up with the life You want for me. Thank You for the calm You provide as I live a quiet life in You.

Victory in love

God, I admit that sometimes loving others can be draining. Fill me with hope to press on and not give up. Thank You for the complete victory I already have in You. Open my eyes to someone specific who needs Your love today. Strengthen my love and the way I live for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Replacing fear with love

God, thank You for taking fear’s power and replacing it with love. I know that I'll feel afraid at times, but, because of You, fear does not have the final say. Please replace my doubts and fears with thoughts about what is good and true. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Breakthrough

Jesus, thank You for sending Your Spirit to be with me at all times. Because You are with me today, I know I can have freedom in every area of my life. Holy Spirit, help me break loose from everything holding me back. Only You can define who I am—and because of You, I can be free. Thank You! Amen.

Live like Jesus

God, self-denial can be so hard! I need Your strength and Your grace. I can't do it on my own. Thank You for teaching me how to deny myself and live for You. Show me how to carry my cross like Jesus carried His. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Change the way you think

God, I want to submit to You. Please fill my mind with thoughts that honor You and other people, so that way my words bring life and encouragement to everyone. Transform me into a new person by changing me from the inside out. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love like Jesus

Jesus, You gave us the command to love others. Sometimes this is so challenging. Please work within my heart and transform me so that the way I love others looks more and more like the way You love everyone. Amen.
