Obey His commands

God, life is meaningless without You. You alone are my source of joy, hope, peace, and comfort. You alone are my place of refuge. So today, please remove any fear in my life that is keeping me from worshipping You. I want You to become the purpose of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Do good to others

God, thank You for giving me opportunities to do good to others every day. Help me to act on those opportunities—even when I don’t feel like it. Give me the endurance to serve, the strength to always be kind, and the courage to pray bold prayers on behalf of others. Make me more like You each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Fully surrender to God

God, please show me what in my life I'm withholding from You. I want to live fully surrendered. Teach me how to prioritize following You and loving others. No matter how difficult, I want to daily deny my self-focused desires, and seek You first. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Be an example

God, use me to be an example for You. I want to amplify Your glory wherever I go. Thank You for choosing me, no matter my age or ability. I am not too broken or messed up for You to use me. Empower me as I seek to love, lead, and live like You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Thank you Lord

God, Thank You for having mercy on us. Thank You for choosing to save us through the gift of Your Son—even though we did nothing to deserve it. Every good gift that we have is because of You. So today, remind me of Your free gift of salvation, and give me the boldness to tell others about Your amazing love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God is always there

God, thank You for always being there! I can’t run away or do anything to escape Your presence. Your love is constant, Your strength is supportive, and Your guidance is good. No matter what, You remain the same. Thank You Jesus, Amen.

Teach us how to live

God, thank You for making me righteous in Your sight. There is nothing I can ever do to earn this—it’s something You have freely offered to me because You love me. Thank You! Forgive me for all the times I have selfishly rejected You, and please show me how to live a life that honors You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Be ready

Jesus, thank You for promising to return to us. As I wait for You, help me to continue to live more like You. Help me to encourage others with Your Word and share Your love through serving others. I’m excited for the day You come back, but until then, please guide me as I lead others toward You. Amen.

God will never fail you

God, You know exactly what I’m going through right now. You’re not surprised or intimidated by it. Thank You for always being near to me. You never fail me. You are worthy of all my praise. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Encourage one another

God, thank You for creating me as part of Your family. I am so grateful for the people in my life who have encouraged me. I pray that I can be an encouragement to others. Help me to be aware of those around me who are discouraged. Show me ways to share Your love with others. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Open our eyes

God, Thank You for giving me the greatest gift imaginable—salvation through Jesus Christ. Help me to cultivate a heart of giving and helping those who are in need. Open my eyes to see opportunities to share Your love with those who do not know You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Give it to God

God, thank You for loving me and caring for me even when I feel anxious. You are trustworthy. You are so good and so kind. I fix my eyes on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Lord is good

God, thank You for taking care of me. You are my strength and my support. You promise to take care of me and fight for me. Thank You for giving me Yourself. Today, please remind me that You are near. Teach me how to surrender and trust in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

While I wait

God, sometimes I want an immediate solution for my problems. It can be so hard to wait, but I know Your timing and Your ways are perfect. As I wait for You, help me to learn from the current situation I’m in, focus on the blessings I currently have, and praise You for all the things You’re going to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Find strength in the Lord

God, You see those who mourn, and You promise to comfort them. Please bring healing to my heart when I grieve. Give me hope when I'm feeling hopeless, and strength when I'm feeling overwhelmed. Show me how close You are in the midst of my mourning. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Live in peace

God, thank You for the work of ministry. Thank You for Your Son, Jesus, and the perfect example He gave of living a servant-hearted, sacrificial life. Help me encourage and support those around me who are living a life like this. In Jesus' name, Amen.

The way I live

God, thank You for making a way for me to be with You. Thank You for giving me Your Spirit. What a gift to be part of Your family and to have Your Spirit. Help me build up the body of Christ the way You do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Be humble and gentle

God, Your Word inspires me to be humble, gentle, and patient. But I can't do those things if Your love isn’t in me. Please teach me how to offer grace to those around me out of love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Wise community

God, I want to grow in wisdom. Please help me to approach my relationships with a willingness to learn and to listen. Allow me to develop relationships that draw me closer to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Loving Others

God, You made a way for me to be part of Your family. Thank You! The entire concept of family exists because You created it. Help me understand Your heart for the body of Christ and love others the way You love. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Eternal life

God, I am so grateful for the good news of Jesus and my eternal relationship with You. Help me each day to share Your Word with those around me so they can experience Your love. Help me to live a life that honors You and inspires others to love You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Knowing God

God, I want Your Word to be alive and active in my life. Scripture helps me examine my thoughts and convicts me to live as Jesus did. I cannot live apart from Your Word because it offers me a way to know You more deeply. Please continue to reveal Yourself to me through Scripture, and sustain me through Your Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Spiritual growth

Father God, who am I to deserve being known by You? You daily give me access to Your perfect presence. And through Your Holy Spirit, You shape who I am. Please increase my knowledge of You. Deepen my love for You and my understanding of what pleases You. Keep me blameless as I await Jesus’ return. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Comfort and joy

God, thank You that I am Your child. And because nothing can separate me from You, I can run to You when I face troubles of any kind. Please help me to remember that. Remind my soul of what is true, and comfort me as I face hardships that are too big for me to handle. Fill me with joy as I believe in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's Word is alive!

God, Your Word is changing my life. It challenges and convicts me. It heals my heart and encourages me to faithfully follow You. Thank You for the gift of Your Word! Today, I invite You to continue to use it to shape me into who You’ve created me to be. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
