God's light

Jesus, thank You for being the Light of the World. Thank You for shining light into the darkness and showing me how to live a life that honors You. Help me to be an example of You to everyone I encounter, and give me the courage to shine Your light in my community. Amen.

Made new

God, thank You for giving me a new life in Christ. My future is secure in You—because I am Your child. So today, I give my life and my year over to You. I want to glorify You in all that I do. Teach me to seek You first so I can embrace the abundant life You offer, and make an impact for Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Fully committed

Lord, I want to be fully committed to You—not just in words, but in how I live. Help me to seek You daily in Scripture, to speak with You continually in prayer, and to walk faithfully in obedience. Strengthen my heart to follow You completely. Amen.

Plant generously

God, You are my great provider, and You provide me with opportunities to give generously. Please give me the courage to trust You with every opportunity to live a generous life. I want to wisely manage the money, time, and energy You’ve given me—all for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Jesus is Lord

Jesus, I believe that You are God, and the Savior of the world. I believe that our Heavenly Father raised You from the dead, and I know that You can save me. I believe that You are King and Lord over the entire earth, and I want to surrender my whole life to You. You alone can save me. You alone are worth following. So please take my life—and give me Yours. Amen.

God strengthens us

God, thank You for Your faithfulness to me, even when I've been unfaithful to You. Thank You for Your presence in my life. You never leave me to handle my problems alone. I know that You will continue to protect me and strengthen me—as I continue to place my hope and trust in You. All glory is Yours! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Our Savior has come!

Jesus, thank You for being so good. For choosing to humble Yourself, temporarily surrendering Your divine privileges. For coming to save me. Please help me to trust You completely, recognizing more and more every day that You truly are the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. What a gift to know You. Kept promises

Lord, thank You for being the promise-keeper. Thank You for sending Jesus—the Messiah long foretold—to be my Savior and Lord. Thank You for leveraging Your power to serve. Help me trust Your timing, rest in Your faithfulness, and know that You always fulfill Your promises. Amen.

Good News for all

God, thank You that Your good news is for everyone! The message of Jesus’ coming is for everyone—including me. You love me and You invite me to have a relationship with You. You offer joy instead of fear. Thank You for sending Jesus to make a way for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Make room

God, I'm so glad that You know what You're doing. You see the full picture when I only see part of it. Thank You for sending Your Son and teaching me so much about Your Kingdom through His birth. Humble, accessible, pure. Today, I'm choosing to trust You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Rejoice in your Savior

God, You are worthy of all my trust. I want to trust You like Mary did—totally unphased by changes to my plans, able to rejoice in You no matter what! Thank You for sending a Savior to give me life and hope and a future. I know I can trust You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Blessed by belief

God, I come to You in spite of my doubts and fears. I'm choosing to believe You and trust Your promises, no matter what challenges I face. Strengthen my faith. Fill me with discernment, gratitude, and belief. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Gratitude

Jesus, You had all the power in the world and the universe, yet You gave it up to be born here on earth. You are so humble. I couldn’t have been rescued from sin and death if You hadn’t humbled Yourself to life on this earth. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You for loving me that much, and for still working miracles today! Amen.

A clean heart

God, forgive me when I sin and mess up. Create in me a clean heart and pure mind. I want to run into Your open arms instead of towards sin. Thank You for always being faithful to forgive me. You remain perfect when I am far from it. Help me to seek You daily. In Jesus's name, Amen.

Love like Jesus

God, Your Word inspires me to be humble, gentle, and patient. But I can't do those things if Your love isn’t in me. Please teach me how to offer grace to those around me—from Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A new name

Father, thank You for giving me the right to be called Your child. Help me to live in that freedom and let Your love flow through me to others. Amen.

Best News Ever

Jesus, thank You for sharing Your life with me. Today, please strengthen my faith. Remind me of who You are and what You have accomplished. Even when lies and doubts surround me, keep my heart and mind focused on You. And as You do that, please give me the courage to tell others about Your world-changing love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Waiting with hope

God, You are the perfect example of patience and grace. Thank You for being patient with me! Show me a specific area in my life where I need to develop more patience. Fill me with hope and wisdom to trust You, especially in the middle of difficult and uncertain times. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Connection with God

God, Your love amazes me. It compels me to know You more intimately, and to love the people around me better. Help me to live in Your love—every single day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's goodness

God, thank You for being my good shepherd. You selflessly pursue me, even when I doubt Your goodness. Time and time again You calm my anxious heart. Thank You for carrying my burdens. Thank You for giving Your life for me. I know You love me, care for me, and always have my best in mind. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Forgiven and free

God, please forgive me for the ways that I've sinned against You. Thank You for being a Father who forgives His children—and who gives me another chance. As I move forward in your forgiveness and freedom, help me to learn, grow, and change for the better. Because of You, I am made new; my mistakes don't define me! Thank You, Lord. The God of miracles

God, thank You for coming to be with us—with me. I know that You created me, love me, and gave Your life to save me. Help me to see Your presence in my life. Remind me of all the times, both good and bad, that You’ve been there for me. I am trusting You today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God, help me to find confidence in Your good promises. You are faithful and won’t abandon me. Please keep me from negativity and despair, and help me to pursue You with my whole life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Jesus, thank You for loving me enough to want to protect my heart. Will You give me a passion to guard what is valuable? To keep watch over what and who is influencing me? I want my life to reflect that You are my top priority. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Same mind as Jesus

God, thank You for giving me everything I need to live a life that honors You. Give me opportunities each day to express Your love to others, and live in harmony with Your people. Empower us with the heart and mind of Christ—so that everything we do is rooted in Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Live with love

God, thank You for showing every generation throughout history the same unconditional love. You are constantly inviting us to experience intimacy with You. What a beautiful gift that is! Today, no matter what I face, help me to love others like You have loved me. Let my life be evidence of Your love at work in the world. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God is close

God, I’m not strong enough on my own—but You are. You make a way in the desert. You give new life and new hope. Help me to rely on your strength and power today, and to find life and freedom in You. Thank You for sending a Messiah to end the darkness and make a way! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer matters

God, thank You for always being willing to hear what’s on my heart. I know there are people in my life who need to experience Your love, healing, and guidance—and I want to support them. Help me to stay in a posture of prayer all throughout my day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A generous heart

Father, You have been so generous to me. Help me have the same willingness to give generously. Let my generosity bless others—just as You have blessed me.

God is our protector

Lord, thank You for being my shade, my protection, and my peace when life feels harsh. Help me to remember that You are close—even when I don't realize the extent of Your protection. Teach me to rest in Your care and walk confidently under the shelter of Your presence. Amen.

Keep watch

God, help me to live wide awake—remembering Jesus' first coming while staying expectant for His return. Keep my heart steady, my hope alive, and my life aligned with what matters most. I want to be ready. I want to stay alert! In Jesus' name, Amen.

The promises of God

God, thank You for being my strength and my defense. You are always reliable and Your promises to me are always secure. I have nothing to fear because You are with me. You protect me, strengthen me, and go before me. You are all I need because You are my salvation. Thank You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The truth will set you free

God, thank You for reminding me that You are truth and Your Word is true! I want to live in freedom, not in fear. Show me how to be bold. Ground me in the truth of Your Word. Lead me out of hiding in darkness to embracing Your light. Thank You for the gift of truth and freedom. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Choose thankfulness

God, sometimes my circumstances are challenging—but I know there are so many things to be grateful for. Thank You for giving me life and an opportunity to have a relationship with You. Thank You for always caring for me, even in life’s hardest moments. Today, I will remember all the wonderful things you have done—and trust that You are still working, even now. He will carry you

God, You are worthy of all my praise! When I am weak, You carry me. When I am overwhelmed, You support me. My burdens are not unknown to You. Thank You for never requiring me to bear hardships alone. Thank You for letting me bring them to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Live generously

God, You are my ultimate provider. And You have blessed me so that I can bless others! Please show me who I can bless today. I want to love others by generously blessing the work they are doing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Courage to share

God, thank You for Your promise to speak through me. Give me the courage to share about what You’ve done in my life. Use my honest story, the victories and the struggles, to draw people to Yourself. I will follow Your lead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

In the valley

God, thank You for always being with me—on the mountaintop and in the valley. Even when life feels overwhelmingly dark, it's comforting to know that You've never stopped working in every last detail. Please guide and protect the people I love most. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Devote yourself to prayer

God, starting a new habit can be hard, but I want to dedicate time to talk with You each day. Help me to develop a discipline of prayer—where I can bring my requests and offer thanks to You for all that You're doing in the world. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's presence

God, You know me. You know what I'm facing, and what I’ve already overcome. Please remind me that You are near. Show me glimpses of Your faithfulness in this season. Restore my hope and my joy, and teach me how to continue to place my trust in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Deliver me Lord

God, unclench my closed fists. Whatever it is that’s holding me back—I release it to You. Please deliver me as I battle against my selfish desires and thoughts, and the things that feel impossible. Show me how to love You above all else. I trust that You are working all things for my good and Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Replace fear with love

God, thank You for taking fear’s power and replacing it with love. I know there will be times when I feel afraid, but Your Spirit will help me to not live in fear. Please replace my doubts and fears with thoughts about what is good, godly, and true. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Bold faith

God, thank You that Your Word is alive and active. As I continue to seek You, give me faith like Noah, Abraham, and Moses to trust and obey even when it’s hard. Help me to become more like You and boldly share Your Word with others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's Word never fails

God, You see my situation, and know that it feels impossible. Give me wisdom in this circumstance, and help me take the next step. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's love

God, thank You for Your perfect, abundant love. Today, show your love to others through me. Bring people closer to You through the love I share. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Powerful Praise

God, I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made, and behold—You have done great things! Continue the work You have begun in me until the end. You are a loving Father, and You are faithful. Amen.

Joy in all circumstances

God, I will choose to worship You in all circumstances because I know You are always good. Sometimes it’s hard to focus on Your goodness in painful situations, but I trust in Your sovereignty and find joy in Your promises. Thank You for always being close. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Encouragement

God, thank You for sending people to build me up when I've been discouraged. I know how impactful a word of encouragement can be. Help me to be that person for someone else—to speak life and truth over someone who's struggling, and point them to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Loving others better

God, thank You for showing me what real love looks like. Thank You for giving me Your Word—so that I can know the difference between right and wrong; between good and evil. I want to know the love that rejoices in the truth. Help me to love others the way that You have loved me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God is always near

Our Father in Heaven, thank You for making a way for me to come home. As I wait in the wilderness, set my feet on the path that leads to life. Thank You for being with me—for never leaving me. I trust that one day You will make all things new. Amen.
