Deliver us Lord

Father God, thank You that salvation belongs to You alone! You alone are worthy of all our praise and worship! You have—and You will—rescue and deliver us. So as I look forward to Jesus’ return, show me how I can join with Christians around the world in praising You, and celebrating Your great name. Make us unified around Your power and love. You are worthy

God, You are worthy of all my praise, and You created me to praise You! So please show me how to worship You in all that I do. When people look back on my life, I want them to give You glory. So please teach me how to make my life an act of worship. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's strength

God, You are mighty and worthy of all my praise! When I feel overwhelmed, You want to support me. When I feel discouraged, You want to encourage me. When I feel hopeless and alone, You surround and protect me. I will praise You because You are my source of strength. Nothing is impossible for You, and You are for me! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Generosity

Lord Jesus, help us follow You to the edges of society, where people are lonely, suffering, and in great need. Let us give freely with appreciation for all You’ve given to us at no charge. In Your name, Amen.

A true neighbor

Jesus, You showed me what love means when You sacrificed Yourself to save us. Please give me the boldness to love others like You have loved me. Make me aware of Your Holy Spirit, and show me what other people need. Allow me to meet the needs of others by loving them sacrificially. Amen.

Peace

God, thank You for Your promise of peace. I may face uncertain and frightening things in this life, but I know You are bigger than my problems. As I walk with You today, help me to remember that no matter what I encounter, You are good. You promise to always be with me—and that brings me peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Seek peace

God, our world desperately needs Your peace. Let my conversations flow with grace and love. Show me how to better live in peace with others and seek goodness. I want to reflect Your peace in a world that thrives on conflict. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's peace

God, by Your grace, You have offered me a relationship with You. I can be known by You, and I can know You. Thank You for giving me peace that extends beyond my feelings and circumstances. Thank You for protecting my heart and mind from becoming overwhelmed by what’s happening around me. Because of You, I can have peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Peace in God

God, I believe in You. No matter what comes my way, I believe You have overcome the world. Even though trouble is ever-present, You are my constant source of peace. You surround me and protect me. Nothing is too difficult for You to accomplish. I will praise You because You are the One in whom I trust—You are in control. Amen.

Be still

God, You alone are all-knowing, present, and powerful. You are the God who created the heavens and the earth, the sun and the moon, and all of creation. All people will come to know Your glory and goodness. Please help me to submit my will to Yours so that I can fulfill the purpose You have created for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

In my weakness

God, thank You for giving me Yourself. Thank You for empowering me to face whatever comes my way. Help me to remember that even when I’m weak, You are still strong. And You can take the hardest of situations and turn it around for Your glory and my good. So please help me to glorify You with all that I am. Let my weaknesses become windows that Your glory shines through. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Imitating God

God, I truly desire to imitate and know You! When people see me, I also want them to see You. Guide me as I seek to follow You with my whole heart. Bring godly people into my life. Surround me with positive relationships, so I can better imitate You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Step of faith

Jesus, thank You for calling me to share Your love. Please open my eyes to see one person who needs You this week. Help me to take a specific step to show kindness, speak with courage, and trust You with the outcome. In Your name, Amen.

God calms all our fears

God, I am amazed that You delight in me! Thank You for seeing me not for my imperfections, but as Your child who delights in You. Help me to never lose focus on You, Your guidance, and Your love. I want You to be the most important part of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

My friends

God, thank You that I don’t have to go through life alone. I’m grateful You created us to depend on one another and share our life experiences with others. Community is Your design, and I pray that I won’t take it for granted. Help me to love and serve my friends well. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

In my weakness

God, my heart is heavy. I release my burdens to You. I lay them down and surrender them to You. Thank You for holding me in my weakness and weariness. Show me how to rest and refuel in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Eternal life

God, I am so grateful for the good news of Jesus and my eternal relationship with You. Help me each day to share Your Word with those around me so they can experience Your love. Help me to live a life that honors You and inspires others to love You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Peace in all circumstances

God, thank You for promising to bring me peace. In every situation, help me to continue to keep my mind on You and Your good promises. Because I trust in Your control, I know I don’t have to be anxious about anything. Please remind me every day of this truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Do what is good

God, when I am overwhelmed by the brokenness I see, help me to remember that You see me. You are in control. I might not be able to stop all the pain and injustice I witness, but I can help overcome evil by doing good. Please help me to do that. Give me the courage and humility to love people well today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thriving faith

God, thank You for Your grace and the gift of salvation. My eternity is secure in You because of Your great love. Teach me what it means to be godly. Help me say "yes" to the things that bring You joy, and "no" to the things I shouldn't do. Give me discernment to know the difference. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Not giving up

God, thank You that You know exactly what I'm facing. You understand why this is challenging for me. I'm so grateful You love me and want to fill me with Your strength. I need it. I am relying on You! Help me receive Your strength and keep on going! In Jesus' name, Amen.

Guidance

God, I want to walk with You. Help me to crave a life that is led by You. Today, please fill me with Your Spirit’s wisdom, power, and strength. Give me the courage to be still and trust You. Teach me to listen to Your Spirit, and show me how to obey You faithfully and follow You boldly. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Surrender

Jesus, the way You loved and served others challenges everything that comes naturally to me. It’s hard to let go of my desire for fairness and love with my whole heart. And yet, this is what You call me to. This is the way You love me. Teach me, Jesus. Help me let go of whatever I may be holding against people and instead trust and love You fully. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Every good thing

God, I believe that every good and perfect thing is from You. Thank You for not only wanting good things for me but also for loving me. I’m grateful for every blessing You’ve placed in my life, and I choose to focus my mind on these things. I love You, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Trust God

God, when I am overwhelmed, Your Word reminds me of Your goodness. Thank You for Your provision and faithfulness even when I fall short. Help me to seek You first every day through Your Word—for You alone will sustain me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Before the throne of God

God, please show me how to approach You with confidence. I know that You care for me, I know that You love me—but sometimes I doubt my worthiness. Please replace any doubts I have with bold assurance that I belong to You, and You long to hear from me. Here I am—please help me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Not Ashamed

God, thank You for the great gift of salvation. Thank You for the grace and mercy that You've given to me. Thank You for sending Jesus to make it possible to have a relationship with You. Help me live in gratitude of my salvation each and every day. Show me ways that I can share this good news with others in my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Wisdom and Knowledge

God, thank You for being the source of wisdom and knowledge. Please teach me more about You each day so I can know and understand You better. Guide my actions and decision making so that I can live a life that honors You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Ears to hear

God, open my heart to hear and readily receive from You. Free me from distractions. I don’t want to read Your Word passively, but I want it to transform my life. Help me to live in obedience and reflect Your light to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Light of the world

Jesus, thank you for bringing God’s mountaintop presence down to Earth. Thank you that this heavenly presence now fills every one of your followers. By the power of your Spirit, help me and my community live as the shining city on a hill, where Heaven touches Earth, so that many may experience the love, wisdom, and blessing of God.

Unity

God, fill me with a spirit of unity. I want to be a uniter, not a divider. Give me a tongue that speaks with understanding and compassion, reflecting Your love. Strip away my pride to “be right” and replace it with a heart of harmony. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

It's not how much you have

Dear God, guard my heart against the endless craving for more. Help me find contentment beyond possessions. Help me to redirect my focus to seek Your kingdom and righteousness above all else. May my life reflect Your purpose and fulfillment. Amen.

Be on guard

Lord, help me steward Your entrusted gifts faithfully. Guide me to serve, pray, and care for others, keeping vigilant as I await Your return. Amen

God, what a gift that I can be part of Your Kingdom. Your Kingdom is a treasure! Thank You for Your grace and mercy. Thank You for Jesus, who made a way for me to be right with you. Nothing matters more than knowing You and being part of Your Kingdom. I am so grateful to walk with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Surrender to God's plan

God, sometimes it’s hard to surrender my life to You. I make the mistake of thinking my plans are better than Yours. I know Your purpose for me is far greater than I can imagine, so I want to release all control to You. I invite You into my decision-making. Please inspire every move and thought I make. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Meditate on God's Word

Father God, thank You for giving me Your Word. Scripture is brimming with truth and life, and I never want to take that for granted. I know that I am easily distracted, but I also know that You give me the strength to persevere. Show me how to meditate on Your Word so that I don’t disobey You. Teach me to prioritize my relationship with You above everything else. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Honor others

Jesus, thank You for showing me what unconditional love looks like. It’s because You love me deeply that You ask me to love others deeply. Please help me with this. Show me how to love others like You have loved me. Bring to my mind ways that I can honor others, and then help me to do so with gladness and joy. Amen.

Declare God's glory

God, You are the King of Glory. The whole earth was created to declare Your name. Help my life to reflect Your glory. I want others to see You shining through me. Fill me with Your love and light. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God is always there

God, thank You for always being there! I can’t run away or do anything to escape Your presence. Your love is light, Your strength is supportive, and Your guidance is good. Even when I mess up time and again, You remain the same. Thank You Jesus, Amen.

Plant good seed

God, sometimes my heart can be hardened to hearing Your Word. Forgive me! Break apart any stubborn sin in my life. Show me how to seek You first and shower me with Your blessings. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love your haters

God, I forgive them: the people who’ve caused me pain, the people who’ve wronged and betrayed me. I forgive them, because You forgave me. Please bless those people, Lord. Transform their lives and bless them like You have blessed me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Help me Lord

Good Father, I stretch out my hand to You now. I need Your help in so many ways, Father. Help me be more aware of Your loving presence as we walk together through this day.

Created

God, You are so great. You created the universe and yet—You still choose to care about me. This blows my mind! Thank You for being all-powerful and ever-present at the same time. Please don’t let me take for granted the gift I have of an intimate relationship with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Endurance

God, You call me to faithful and obedient living. Thank You for providing Your Word as a guide that helps me bring You glory. When I struggle to live as You call me to, please remind me of the eternity I get to spend with You. And as You do that, restore my strength and endurance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Keep the Sabbath holy

God, You are holy! There is no one like you. I am amazed that you have called me to be part of your holy people. Help me to remember to rest, and when I do, to remember that I’m Yours and made in Your image. Amen.

Unity

God, I am so thankful that You have united me to a community of believers who love You! Please help us to remain united in times of disruption and difficulty. Continue to unite believers all around the world so that we can share Your good works and faithfulness with others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Victory in love

God, I admit that sometimes loving others can be draining. Fill me with hope to press on and not give up. Thank You for the complete victory I already have in You. Open my eyes to someone specific who needs Your love today. Strengthen my love and the way I live for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Seeing Jesus

God, thank You for helping me see You today. I want to see You clearly every day, recognizing Your hand at work in my past and present. I ask that each time I see You, I become more and more like You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love God's Word

God, I am thankful that You are always by my side. I ask that You open my understanding of Your Word. Bring me brothers and sisters in Christ that I can learn from. Lead me to love the Bible and embrace the truth it offers. Build my trust in You as I fill my life with Your Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Seek God's truth

God, thank you for inviting me to come to You with all my doubts, fears, and questions. Instead of relying on my own strength, may I seek You and Your truth in all things. Help me set aside my pride and approach You with humble heart. Transform my fears into courage, just as You did for Nicodemus. Guide me toward Your truth and Your light. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
