Praise for forgiveness

God, thank you for Your gift of forgiveness! You have erased the mistakes of my past, present, and future. You've made me new. I am in constant awe of Your amazing love and boundless grace. Thank You that nothing can separate me from Your presence. I love You Jesus, Amen.

Our source of strength

Father God, thank You for being my source of strength. You are here for me no matter what I face, and I’m so grateful I can take refuge in You. Today, help me to come before You humbly and honestly. Give me the courage to surrender my concerns to You, and the faith to trust You with the results. I invite You to be my source of strength—today and forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love like Jesus

God, You are the model of unconditional love. Please help me to extend the love You've given me to others. I want to be patient and kind, humble and loving—so that others will want to know You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pray against distraction

God, I know that true joy and satisfaction can only be found in You—the giver of life. I pray against all the distractions of the enemy. Help me as I face daily attacks on my time, attention, and energy. Empty my life of any lies and false securities. I trust that You know best, and will always lead me to life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Confession

God, I confess that I have not always been the person You’ve created me to be. I sometimes fail to love You with my whole heart, mind, and soul. I do not always love my neighbors as You love them. Please forgive me, God. Transform my heart and renew my mind so that I can draw closer to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love compels

God, Your great love compels me. Thank you for never giving up on me. I pray that I can love others in that same way. Please help me—by Your Spirit—to prioritize people in my life, serve those who are in need, and share the love of Jesus with everyone I encounter. In Jesus' name, Amen.

A New Nature

God, thank You for giving me a new nature. Because of Jesus, I can have victory over sin. I don’t want to take it for granted, so today I surrender the desires that pull me away from You. Align my will with Your will—so I can know You and make You known. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Spirit of God

God, You created this world. You're the source of every good thing. You even bring dead things back to life! Thank You for defeating death on the cross and making a way for me to live forever. Help me to spend my days honoring You and telling others about Your love. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Rest

God, I can sleep peacefully because You care for me and my future. Today, I commit my concerns to You. Give me peace-filled rest so that I can rise joyfully and do all that You've called me to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Help me to listen

God, I’m grateful that I can come to You with any and every situation—knowing You always hear me. Today, I bring You my questions, my concerns, and my tentative plans for the future. Please help me to hear Your voice above the rest, and trust Your direction for my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Sacrificial love

Jesus, thank You for Your love. You gave everything. You showed me how to love sacrificially. I can’t love others in this way without Your help. Help me know how much You love me and, from that place, love others in a way that points them to You. Amen.

Praise!

God, thank You for being unstoppable, unchangeable, all-powerful, and incomparable. You alone are worthy of all my praise, honor, and glory! Your love endures forever, and I am forever grateful for who You are. Thank You for making a way for me to know You personally. Nothing compares to You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Trust the Shepherd

God, my Good Shepherd, thank You for carrying me close to Your heart. Lead me today with Your kindness and care. Remind me that I’m never alone, and give me the strength to trust You as I follow You. Amen.

Sharing the Gospel

God, thank You for shining Your light into a dark and hurting world. Thank You for being the King of all kings—demonstrating what it looks like to lead with sacrificial love. I want to share Your light and love with everyone I encounter. Will you use me to spread the Gospel and put a spotlight on You? Will you give me the courage, strength, and endurance to do so? In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Our mediator

Father, thank You for sending Jesus to be my mediator and my redeemer. Help me to trust fully in Him, to live faithfully because of Him, and to share His love with boldness and compassion. Keep my heart grounded in Your truth, no matter what voices surround me. Amen.

A changed life

God, take back my life. Take my burdens and remove my fear. Replace all my insecurities and anxieties with Your peace. Make my soul responsive to Your voice, and teach me to trust in Your faithfulness. Restore my joy, and give me strength for today and hope for tomorrow. Give me a heart that longs to obey Your promptings. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Slow down

God, thank You for being the perfect example of how to rest. Teach me how to find true rest in Your presence. I lay all my stress and anxiety at Your feet. Free my mind from the thoughts and weights of busyness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Wisdom

God, thank You for sharing Your wisdom with those who seek it. As I grow closer to You, help me to think more like You. Today, I invite You into my decision-making. Help me to make wise decisions. Show me how to handle challenging situations in a way that represents Your character. Allow Your love to inspire my actions and words. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Truth

God, thank You for the gift of salvation and for showing me the way. The world desperately needs Your truth and light. Guide my steps to be bold in telling others around me about You. Use my life to point others toward You, and bring me back to Your way and Your truth when I stray. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Wisdom

God, please show me how to live an honorable life. Give me Your wisdom. Show me how to love others like You have loved me. Show me how to honor and worship You with my life. Teach me how to live, so that I might live for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A Heart of Welcome

Jesus, thank You that we can all come to the Father through You. Not because of anything we’ve done, but because of Your generous love and kindness. Will You change my heart to be more like Yours? Help me to share Your Good News with the people around me—even if they look, act, or think differently than I do. In Your precious name, Amen.

Faith

God, please increase my faith. I trust in Your authority, power, and sovereignty. I cling to Your faithful promises and love. Guide and strengthen me. Use my faith to encourage someone else. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Faithful with God's resources

God, You have given me unique gifts for Your glory. Please provide opportunities—both big and small—where I can use what You've given me for Your Kingdom. Make me generous with my time and resources. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Jesus, You showed me what true humility should look like. Thank You for Your kindness and grace toward me. Please show me how to have the same attitude toward others like You have toward me. Teach me to love people unconditionally and sacrificially—for Your glory, and their good. Amen.

God, I am Your disciple. Please teach me how to live a life that reflects who You are. As I grow in my faith, provide me with a community where we can teach and support one another. Help us to live out Jesus’ model for living well and loving one another. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Unity

Lord Jesus, thank You for making us one in You. Help me to see every believer through Your eyes—not as “other,” but as family. Heal division in Your Church and use me as a peacemaker. Make us a people who reflect Your unity to a divided world. Amen.

Thank You For Your Word

God, thank You for Your Word! What a gift to me. Thank You for the opportunity to renew my mind with Truth every day. It changes everything, including the way I think so that I can be transformed. With You, I can be made new. Thank You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Keep God's Word Close

Father, help me to treasure Your Word—not just in theory, but in the way I live each day. Let it shape my thoughts and guide my actions. I want to walk closely with You, remembering Your truth in every moment of my day. Amen.

Eternal Foundation

God, thank You that Your Word never fades, fails, or falters. In a world that's constantly shifting, help me to build my life on what is eternal. Speak to me through Your Word today, and give me the courage to share Your love. Amen.

Trust God's provision

Father God, You met my greatest need when You sent Your Son to rescue me from eternal separation from You. Thank You! I never want to take Your kindness for granted. So today, please teach me to come honestly before You and to trust You with what I need. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Praise God for His Goodness

God, You are good. No matter what goes on around me—You are good. You are worthy of my praise because You are God. You provide for me, strengthen me, deliver me, and heal me. Even when I don’t see You at work in my life, that doesn’t change the fact that You are working. There is no one like You. So regardless of what I face today, I will worship You! Be like Jesus

Jesus, make me more like You. Please get rid of any behaviors or thought patterns that don’t reflect Your character or heart for people. Make me bold, brave, and courageous—but keep me humble, kind, and gentle. Let the way I live reflect Your hope and love. And when the opportunity arises, help me to share my faith with genuine joy. Amen.

While I wait

God, sometimes I want a quick solution for my problems; an immediate answer to my prayers. It can be so hard to wait, but I know Your timing and Your ways are perfect. As I wait for You, help me to learn from the current situation I’m in, focus on the blessings I already have, and praise You for all the things You are still planning to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank God for eternal life

God, eternal life begins the moment I choose a relationship with You. As I follow You, please help me to have an eternal mindset. Guide me. Give me the wisdom to know how to prepare for eternity in my daily life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Trust God

Jesus, thank You for being trustworthy. I don’t need to understand everything that’s happening—I just need to be still and know You. You fight for me. You died for me. You are for me. Thank You. You are enough for me, and so I will place my hope, trust, joy, and future in You. I believe in You. Amen.

Guidance & Protection

God, You are the foundation upon which I build my life. You are my source of protection and strength. You fight for me, protect me, and lead me through hard times. With You, I am never alone or abandoned. Thank You for being my source of strength and salvation. Thank You for crushing the devil’s schemes and guiding me closer to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Spirit-filled Life

God, You are faithful! Nothing is impossible for You because all authority is Yours. Thank You for giving me access to this authority through Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for allowing me to draw near to You. Please show me how to walk with Your boldness through life. Empower me to be a part of Your great mission to heal a broken and hurting world. Justice and Mercy

God, please show me how to love You and Your people. Align my heart with Your will, and help me to make decisions that bring You glory and honor. Help me to see myself accurately so that I can love others fully. Help me to act justly, to love mercy, and walk humbly with You, preferring others above myself. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's presence

God, I join with voices all around the world today lifting up the nations to You in prayer. God, join your church in one voice, one body, and one spirit. Fill us with love and give us the courage to share it with the people in our lives! Amen.

God's breath

God, breathe Your Spirit into me. Where I feel tired, fill me with Your strength. Where I feel empty, fill me with Your presence. Restore my soul, and bring to life whatever has withered within me. I trust You to make dry bones live again. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Encouraging one another

God, I don’t want to face my challenges alone. I’ve made mistakes in the past and—to move forward—I know I need help from others. Please give me the courage to confess my sin to trusted people. Surround me with a community who’s willing to hear my struggles, pray with me, and encourage me to live more like You. Help me to also be there for others in their time of need. Ask, Seek, Knock

Lord, thank You for being my safe place—I’m grateful I can come to You with confidence. There are people in my life who still need Your grace and salvation. Today, will You open doors for them to hear Your good news? Will You give me opportunities to share Your love? You are a miracle-working God who always has a plan. Once again, I will put my trust in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Live humbly

God, I am so grateful that I'm called by Your name. Even though I am imperfect, You still call me Yours. Each day, I want to live up to that calling and become the person You created me to be. Please help me to be more humble, to seek You more, and to turn away from things that are wrong. Thank You for Your willingness to forgive and restore. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

My Father

God, You care for those who might struggle to feel like they belong. Thank You for welcoming everyone into Your Kingdom and Your family. Please make me aware of the people who need extra love and care today. Show me how to offer the same hospitality that You give to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Show love

God, thank You for being the perfect example of love. Some people are difficult for me to love, yet You love everyone without condition. Help me to see others through Your eyes. Make me aware of a specific person I can shine Your light and love to today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Surrender your plans to God

God, I want my life to be lived for Your glory. In moments where it's difficult for me to surrender my plans to You, please help me to focus on Your vision for the future. I want all of my work and anything I do to point others to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Forgiving others

God, thank You for choosing to forgive me. I don’t deserve Your forgiveness, but I know You are good and loving. I want to be like You, and because You have forgiven me, I want to forgive others. Help me each day to remember Your gift of forgiveness, and release my anger towards those who have wronged me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Trust in God

God, no matter what happens, You are a firm foundation. You are my source of strength. You overwhelm my fears with Your love. With You, all things are possible. So, again, I will place my hope in You. Even when things around me seem to be crumbling, I will not be afraid—for my future is secure with You. You are always good. You are always trustworthy. Harmony

God, I know relationships aren't perfect. Please heal and restore those that are broken. Thank You for being the perfect example of a loving father. Use me to bring Your love and harmony to those around me. I want to live in a way so that my family sees Your love flowing out of me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Strength

God, all my hope is in You. You are all I need. Thank You for being my protector and the source of my strength. In every situation I face, I ask for Your courage and endurance to face it and handle it well. Please guide me with Your wisdom as I make decisions, and fill me with peace as I do what You’ve called me to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
