Devote yourself to prayer

God, starting a new habit can be hard, but I want to dedicate time to talk with You each day. Help me to develop a discipline of prayer—where I can bring my requests and offer thanks to You for all that You're doing in the world. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's presence

God, You know me. You know what I'm facing, and what I’ve already overcome. Please remind me that You are near. Show me glimpses of Your faithfulness in this season. Restore my hope and my joy, and teach me how to continue to place my trust in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Deliver me Lord

God, unclench my closed fists. Whatever it is that’s holding me back—I release it to You. Please deliver me as I battle against my selfish desires and thoughts, and the things that feel impossible. Show me how to love You above all else. I trust that You are working all things for my good and Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Replace fear with love

God, thank You for taking fear’s power and replacing it with love. I know there will be times when I feel afraid, but Your Spirit will help me to not live in fear. Please replace my doubts and fears with thoughts about what is good, godly, and true. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Bold faith

God, thank You that Your Word is alive and active. As I continue to seek You, give me faith like Noah, Abraham, and Moses to trust and obey even when it’s hard. Help me to become more like You and boldly share Your Word with others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's Word never fails

God, You see my situation, and know that it feels impossible. Give me wisdom in this circumstance, and help me take the next step. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's love

God, thank You for Your perfect, abundant love. Today, show your love to others through me. Bring people closer to You through the love I share. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Powerful Praise

God, I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made, and behold—You have done great things! Continue the work You have begun in me until the end. You are a loving Father, and You are faithful. Amen.

Joy in all circumstances

God, I will choose to worship You in all circumstances because I know You are always good. Sometimes it’s hard to focus on Your goodness in painful situations, but I trust in Your sovereignty and find joy in Your promises. Thank You for always being close. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Encouragement

God, thank You for sending people to build me up when I've been discouraged. I know how impactful a word of encouragement can be. Help me to be that person for someone else—to speak life and truth over someone who's struggling, and point them to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Loving others better

God, thank You for showing me what real love looks like. Thank You for giving me Your Word—so that I can know the difference between right and wrong; between good and evil. I want to know the love that rejoices in the truth. Help me to love others the way that You have loved me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God is always near

Our Father in Heaven, thank You for making a way for me to come home. As I wait in the wilderness, set my feet on the path that leads to life. Thank You for being with me—for never leaving me. I trust that one day You will make all things new. Amen.

God knows our hearts

God, You know me better than anyone else in this world. Test my heart—so it can look more and more like Yours. Please forgive me for all the ways I've messed up and fallen short of Your glorious standards. Remind me of Your unfailing love and unending grace. Know my thoughts and realign them with Your will. Jesus' sacrifice

Jesus, thank You for loving me, forgiving me, and healing me. The only way was through Your sacrifice on the cross. You gave everything so that I could be made whole. Thank You! Help me to live with that truth as the foundation of everything I am, and everything I do. In Your name I pray, Amen.

Keep running the race

God, thank You that life with You is a race worth running. I want to be like Paul. At the end of my life, I want to be able to say that I have fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. Please teach me how to live this out. Hope for the future

God, I know You have a plan for my life, and that You want to bless me. Help me lean into that promise and live a life that honors You. Thank You for loving me—even when I struggle, and for paving the way to redemption. Fill me with Your hope and peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Order our steps

God, You know my thoughts, my dreams, and my desires—for myself and for the people I love. You know what I need, and what I'm hoping for. But my life is not my own—it is Yours. Once again, I'm putting my trust in You. Thank You for already knowing the path that's set before me, and for paving a way for Your redemptive story to shine. Live like Jesus

Jesus, thank You for modeling how to live a God-honoring life. I know I mess up sometimes, but I also know that—with Your guidance—I can learn to become more like You. I believe in you, Jesus. Help me to live what I speak and to follow Your example each day. Amen.

Treasure that lasts forever

God, thank You for showing me that the real treasure is You. Help me to align my life with Your will. Show me how to invest my time, talents, and resources into the one thing that has eternal value—Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Intentional trust

God, when I am afraid, I will put my trust in You. I can depend on You no matter what comes my way—because You are my source of strength and safety. You guide me and fight for me. Because You are in control, I have nothing to fear. You see the big picture, and are already working for my good and Your glory. So today, I will intentionally choose to trust in You. Seek after God

God, thank You for the gift of your Word! Thank you for revealing Yourself to the world—and to me. Today, please help me to seek You with my whole heart, and to know your character in a deeper way. Give me a desire and passion for Your ways. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A crucified life

God, my life is Yours. Please take every part of it. Every area of my life that doesn’t honor You—take it. Every insecurity, fear, sin, selfish ambition, and past hurt—I give it all to You. Do Your holy and mighty work—in me and through me. I am Yours. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Justified by faith

God, thank You for the perfect peace that comes from being Your child. It’s through nothing that I’ve done, but by faith in You alone. I love that I can talk to You at any time and You embrace me as Your own—despite my mess and mistakes. Thank You for this undeserved gift! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Fix your thoughts

God, sometimes it’s hard to focus my mind on good things. But I know that You're true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy—and those are traits worth thinking about. When I go through challenging situations, please remind me of Your goodness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Fix your eyes

God, I am looking to You. In the midst of all that's going on in my life, I want You to be the center of everything. Help me to keep my eyes fixed on You—the One who never changes and already knows it all. Help me to remember that there's more to life and eternity than what I currently see. In Jesus' name, Amen.

The Lord Listens

God, you understand both my pain and my joy. Thank You for caring about my troubles—while also offering Your peace. I praise You for all that You’ve done in my life and all that You're going to do. Strong in Hope

Put on God's armor

God, You equip us with tools that draw us closer to You and help us stand against schemes created to destroy us. Thank You for Your protection. Thank You for caring for us at all times. Truth

God, thank You for sending Your Son to make a way—not only for the world, but also for me. I believe that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Thank You for the priceless gift of salvation! Guide my steps to be bold in telling others around me about You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Use me Lord

God, please send more of Your people into the harvest for this great work! Help me use my time here on earth to know You and make You known. Give me courage to have conversations with others as I share about You and the way you've changed my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Close to the brokenhearted

God, You are always near, but today I am inviting You to get as close as possible. Here are my burdens—please take them. I am tired of pretending that I can carry them by myself. Remove my fears and worries, and replace any heaviness in my life with Your relentless love. Thank You for already knowing my heart and needs before I do. I trust You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

A Mighty Warrior

God, I invite You to guide and direct my life. Your power is far greater and more reliable than my own. Soften my heart to say “yes” to whatever You ask of me. Help me to believe that You can accomplish Your will through my willing heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thanks for God's Grace

God, I am in awe of Your love for me. Thank You for the free gift of salvation! Thank You for allowing me to have a relationship with You, and for always meeting me right where I am. Remind me that I don’t have to perform to earn Your favor—Jesus has already made a way. Please give me the courage to tell others about Your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A clean heart

God, forgive me when I sin and mess up. Create in me a clean heart and pure mind. I want to run into Your open arms instead of toward sin. Thank You for always being faithful to forgive me. You remain perfect when I am far from it. Help me to seek You daily. In Jesus's name, Amen.

Pray for church leaders

God, thank You for putting people in my life who love You. Who have pointed me back to You. Who have showed me what it looks like to live surrendered to Your will, and to joyfully serve You. Please use me to make a difference in others' lives! Give me Your love, Your grace, and Your wisdom—to represent You well. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Seek God's help first

God, I am so thankful You already know everything I’m going through. Today, I want to run to You first before anything else. You alone are my source of strength, my rock, my safe place. So here I am—asking for Your help. Please rescue me. Please help me to love and protect others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Fulfillment

God, You are the bread of life, true nourishment for my soul. Forgive me when I chase what the world offers—instead of You. I want to know and pursue You, rather than empty pleasures. Show me how to gain real fulfillment and satisfaction by spending time with You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Grace and Truth

God, sometimes I struggle to give myself grace. It can be hard to forgive myself for the things I’ve done and the regrets I have, but I know that You love me and have forgiven me. And because You have forgiven me, I can forgive myself. Your grace leads me to truth and Your truth leads me to grace. Thank You for modeling both—so that I can do the same. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Live by faith

God, I am not ashamed of the Gospel. I want to live for You and share Your goodness with the world. Help me to be bold in my faith, to love others well, and to live a life that honors You. Guide me as I point others to Your love! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Praise for forgiveness

God, thank you for Your gift of forgiveness! You have erased the mistakes of my past, present, and future. You've made me new. I am in constant awe of Your amazing love and boundless grace. Thank You that nothing can separate me from Your presence. I love You Jesus, Amen.

Father God, thank You for being my source of strength. You are here for me no matter what I face, and I’m so grateful I can take refuge in You. Today, help me to come before You humbly and honestly. Love like Jesus

God, You are the model of unconditional love. Please help me to extend the love You've given me to others. I want to be patient and kind, humble and loving—so that others will want to know You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pray against distraction

God, I know that true joy and satisfaction can only be found in You—the giver of life. I pray against all the distractions of the enemy. Help me as I face daily attacks on my time, attention, and energy. Empty my life of any lies and false securities. I trust that You know best, and will always lead me to life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Confession

God, I confess that I have not always been the person You’ve created me to be. I sometimes fail to love You with my whole heart, mind, and soul. I do not always love my neighbors as You love them. Please forgive me, God. Transform my heart and renew my mind so that I can draw closer to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love compels

God, Your great love compels me. Thank you for never giving up on me. I pray that I can love others in that same way. Please help me—by Your Spirit—to prioritize people in my life, serve those who are in need, and share the love of Jesus with everyone I encounter. In Jesus' name, Amen.

A New Nature

God, thank You for giving me a new nature. Because of Jesus, I can have victory over sin. I don’t want to take it for granted, so today I surrender the desires that pull me away from You. Align my will with Your will—so I can know You and make You known. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Spirit of God

God, You created this world. You're the source of every good thing. You even bring dead things back to life! Thank You for defeating death on the cross and making a way for me to live forever. Help me to spend my days honoring You and telling others about Your love. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Rest

God, I can sleep peacefully because You care for me and my future. Today, I commit my concerns to You. Give me peace-filled rest so that I can rise joyfully and do all that You've called me to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Help me to listen

God, I’m grateful that I can come to You with any and every situation—knowing You always hear me. Today, I bring You my questions, my concerns, and my tentative plans for the future. Please help me to hear Your voice above the rest, and trust Your direction for my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Sacrificial love

Jesus, thank You for Your love. You gave everything. You showed me how to love sacrificially. I can’t love others in this way without Your help. Help me know how much You love me and, from that place, love others in a way that points them to You. Amen.
