Pursuing Righteousness

God, when I feel weak, remind me that You are strong. And when I feel like giving up, give me the strength to persevere. Show me what it means to pursue righteousness, and then help me to live well. I want every aspect of my life to glorify Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Blessed are the peacemakers

God, please help me to live at peace with others. Even when people hurt, hated, and mocked You—You still showed them love, mercy, and peace. And You invite us to experience and share Your perfect peace. So please transform the ways I think and act. Make me eager to spread peace instead of fear, and love instead of hate. A pure heart

God, I want to have a pure heart. Please reveal to me the areas of my heart that are not in line with Your Word. Help me to let go of bitterness, disappointment, and hurt I am holding onto. I surrender my whole heart to You—please change me for the better. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A merciful heart

God, Your nature is to offer mercy. When people meet me, I want them to know You live in me. Give me opportunities to demonstrate Your mercy to those around me. As my faith grows, please give me a deeper ability to offer mercy to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

What do you crave

God, You put the thirst and hunger for righteousness in my heart, and You alone can satisfy it. Please help me to hold onto the hope that You offer, and to show Your love to everyone. Give me the patience to endure an imperfect world as I wait for You to come back and make all things right. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Blessed are the meek

God, thank You for welcoming me into Your kingdom. Thank You for accepting me, even though I don't have it all together. Your power is sufficient for my needs, so help me lean on Your strength today. Please help me walk gently and humbly with those around me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

For those who mourn

God, You see those who mourn, and You promise to comfort them. Please bring healing to our hearts when we grieve. Give hope to those feeling hopeless, and strength to anyone feeling overwhelmed. Show us how close You are in the midst of our mourning. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Feeling needy?

God, help me. Here I am—I need You. I have nothing without You. You are the giver of every good and perfect gift, and You are all I need. Please restore my hope and joy, and draw me closer to You. Make me aware of how You are at work in my life, and teach me how to rejoice in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Surrender

God, I need You. I can’t pretend that I have my life together, because I don’t. You alone are able to help and sustain me. You alone are able to give me the strength I need to get through each day. Today, please show me that You are in control—and that You are enough for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Remembrance

God, thank You for showing Yourself faithful and true. You always keep Your promises. So today, I will remember all that You’ve done and praise You for who You are. You are faithful, You are trustworthy, and You still continue to do wonderful things. There is no one like You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reflect God

God, I want my life to testify to Your goodness and grace. Refocus my heart on You. Help me pursue You first, above all else. Nothing in life matters more than bringing glory to You. Show me who I need to share You with and give me boldness. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Victory

God, today, help me to remember that I can live from a place of victory because You have given me victory over all things—through Jesus. You have given me victory over my past mistakes and current difficulties. You fight for me, and with me. So when I come up against trouble of any kind, help me to remember that You are enough for me—I can trust in You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Trust God's plan

God, thank You for being a relatable God. You can bear my pain and understand my emotions. You know what’s on my heart. Hear my request and help me trust Your plan. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Comfort and mercy

God, You are my comforter. You offer me mercy and bring me back into a relationship with You. Please help me to be a comforter to others, too. Give me the strength to offer mercy as You have done for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Be an example

God, use me to be an example for You. I want to amplify Your glory wherever I go. Thank You for choosing me, no matter my age or ability. I am not too broken or messed up for You to use me. Empower me as I seek to love, lead, and live like You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Redemption

God, here I am. I need You. I want You. I am weary, and I need Your rest. I know that You are good, but right now, what I’m experiencing isn’t good. Please help me. Grieve with me, and remind me that You are near. Even though what I’m experiencing isn’t good—please redeem every part of my life for my good and Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Trust God

God, I am not always sure what the future will bring. But I know that You have a plan and purpose for my life. Thank You for guiding and protecting me. As I continue to follow You, I will not be afraid—instead, I will trust in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Freedom

God, thank You for rescuing me from darkness and evil. I am so grateful You have made me a citizen of Your kingdom. Help me to remember the freedom I have with You when I face hard situations. I believe You have the ability to change circumstances for the better. Through every challenge I face, I ask that You will free me from worry and fear and bring me Your peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

In the midst of darkness

God, even though I am faced with some darkness, I hold tight to Your promises. You are true to Your Word. And Your Word says that You will turn my tears into joy. I trust in You, God, and in Your timing. I may not see the light yet, but I hope in what's to come. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Change the way you think

God, You know everything about me. You know what I’m going to say before I speak it. You know all of my thoughts, desires, and intentions. All that I am, I give to You. Please remove any idea, behavior, or lie that will keep me from becoming the person You created me to be. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

No more

Father God, thank You for deeply caring about who I am. I’m so grateful that one day, You will take away all the pain and hardship I’ve experienced. But until that day comes, I will trust You and cling to You. I will place my hope in You. I will bring You my pain, and allow You to comfort me. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A humble heart

Father, I come before You with a humble heart, knowing that I need Your grace. Keep me from pride, from thinking I can earn Your love. Help me to trust in Your mercy and rest in Your righteousness. Thank You for exalting the humble and drawing near to the lowly. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Be Bold

God, fill me with Your power and boldness. I know You hear each and every prayer. Give me the courage to bring hard things before You and also share them with others. Thank You for the freedom to bring You anything on my heart. Help me fight my fears with faith. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Stay on guard

God, I need You. You have given me everything I need to live a godly life, but this doesn’t mean it’s easy. So please help me to not waiver in my faith. Help me to be on guard against any attacks or lies from the devil. Give me the courage to stand strong in my belief in You, and to live for You every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Live like it matters

Jesus, I don’t want to lose what matters most by focusing on momentary things. So please help me. When I am tired, please strengthen me. When living a comfortable life seems more appealing than following You unconditionally—please convict and correct me. Give me the strength to trust in You. I know that You are worth living and dying for, but please help me to live like it. Amen.

Seek God

God, it’s when I seek You that I find You. So today, help me to intentionally draw near to You. Give me the courage to shift my attention off of my circumstances and onto You. I want to rely on You completely by coming to You first—above anything else. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's goodness

God, no matter what, there is something to praise You for today. Strip away my selfish desires so I can see Your blessings. Open my eyes and reveal Your goodness. Teach me to dwell in Your presence with a heart that overflows in gratitude. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Peace

God, You know that I need You. I’m sorry for all the times I’ve pretended that I’m fine on my own. Please forgive me. Today, I come to You just as I am, and I give You all of my anxieties, cares, and worries. Please replace worry with peace, anxiety with hope, and concern with confident trust. I know that I am safe with You, and You can handle my problems. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Childlike faith

God, You are worthy of all my worship! Thank You for being a safe place for me to run to. Thank You for being my source of strength and help when I am in trouble. Draw me closer to You. Teach me how to approach You with a childlike heart by confidently trusting You with my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's free gift

Jesus, thank You for becoming “God with us.” Thank You for taking the brokenness of the world off of our shoulders. It’s because of Your selfless sacrifice that I can now experience eternal life with You. Today, I receive Your free gift of salvation, and I invite You to heal me. I want to spend the rest of my life becoming more like You. Amen.

God's unfailing love

God, nothing is impossible for You. You love me even when I’m unloveable. You are good to me even when I don’t deserve it. You are kind and compassionate toward me even when I mess up. You show me what faithful love looks like. Thank You for never leaving or forsaking me! Today, remind me of the ways You have shown up in my life so that way I can intentionally praise You. Generosity

God, thank You for all the blessings You have given me. I want to live a life that honors You and is generous with what I have. Guide me to opportunities where I can fulfill others’ needs with my time, my energy, and my finances. Help me to serve those around me with a generous heart—a heart that reflects Your nature. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Trust

God, I know that You are good and wise. But sometimes it's hard for me to trust Your plan over my own. Please help me! Take control of my anxious thoughts and fill me with Your wisdom. Thank You that I don’t have to navigate this life alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Spiritual growth

Father God, who am I to deserve being known by You? You daily give me access to Your perfect presence. And through Your Holy Spirit, You shape who I am. Please increase my knowledge of You. Deepen my love for You and my understanding of what pleases You. Keep me blameless as I await Jesus’ return. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The whole body

God, thank You for caring about my whole being—body, mind, and spirit. Help me to train not just for physical health, but for godliness. Shape my thoughts, actions, and purpose to align with You. Strengthen me to pursue what truly lasts. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Rescue and Redemption

Our Father in Heaven, thank you for rescuing us from our enslavement to the powers of this world and adopting us as your beloved children. Help us to see one another, our brothers and sisters, as equal heirs in your eternal life and endless love. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflect. God's Love

God, open my heart to see those in need as You see them. Help me serve with compassion and humility, reflecting Your love through my actions. Let my small acts of kindness point others to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Embrace grace

Follow Jesus

God, thank You for sending Your Son to be our Good Shepherd. Help me to listen to His voice and follow Him faithfully. May my life reflect Your love and mercy, especially to those in need. Guide me today to serve others as if I were serving You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Everlasting love

God, thank You for Your everlasting love. I am so grateful and amazed that You love someone like me. Your love is greater than my fears, my anxiety, my failures, or my sins. Nothing in the entire universe can separate me from You. Praise be Your holy name! Amen.

The Cornerstone

Jesus, You know the pain of rejection, yet You were chosen by God as the cornerstone. When I feel overlooked or unwanted, remind me that my worth is found in You. Help me rest in Your love and acceptance, knowing that I am secure in You. Amen.

Give thanks

God, I’m so grateful I have the opportunity to have a relationship with You. Thank You for not only blessing me with Your presence, but for wanting good things for me. I’m honored to serve You, Lord. I pray that all I do will bring glory and honor to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Direct my steps

God, use me to share Your love with those You have placed in my life. Give me boldness and grace. Direct my steps and actions to plant the seed of Your salvation. Equip and empower me with Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Spirit of truth

God, fill me with Your Spirit and guide me into truth. Help me overcome my fears to shine Your truth into the darkness. Forgive me when I fight against Your wisdom and go my own way. Guide me into the freedom and joy that only comes from following Your path. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Glorify God's name

God, thank You for creating the beauty around me. All of it is a miraculous display of Your creativity and kindness. You didn’t need to create any of this, but You chose to. Help me to appreciate what You’ve made. Keep showing me how You’re at work in the world. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Building others up

God, forgive me for the times my words have brought hurt rather than hope. I want my words to represent You and to build others up. Let my tongue be quick to give grace, encouragement, and healing. May I speak words that bring life—not only to others, but also to myself. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Enduring trials

God, You promise to bless those who remain faithful to You in trials. Thank You for seeing my pain and hardship and not allowing it to go unnoticed. Thank You for promising to reward my perseverance one day. When I face hard times, help me to grow into the person You have called me to be. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Don't be anxious

Father God, thank you for caring about every detail of my life. Forgive me for spending so much mental energy worrying about circumstances I can’t control. I give each pressing situation to you. Please work in miraculous ways. Thank you that I can trade my anxieties for your peace. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

God's workmanship

God, thank You for carefully creating me. I was not a mistake—I am a creation You thoughtfully designed. Thank You! Today, please help me to see myself the way that You see me. Show me how I can take part in the plans You are preparing me for. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
