Schools told it's no longer necessary to teach right from wrong - Britain - Times Online

Although this is not a headline for something that is going on in the United States it is still extremely alarming. Teachers in the UK have supposedly been bothered by being told that they are to teach right and wrong to students. They state that doing this is just a given. There is a reason that we have requirements to do things like that. There are already studies of youth that show that truth is only relative to their situation, an authoritative interpretation so to speak.
I thought teachers were supposed to be laying the foundation for the rest of their students lives. Kids need this and teachers should be required, in writing to provide it. If for no other reason than to make sure the teachers remember to do it.
What do you think?
Because of Him,
