My Father

God, You care for those who might struggle to feel like they belong. Thank You for welcoming everyone into Your Kingdom and Your family. Please make me aware of the people who need extra love and care today. Show me how to offer the same hospitality that You give to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Show love

God, thank You for being the perfect example of love. Some people are difficult for me to love, yet You love everyone without condition. Help me to see others through Your eyes. Make me aware of a specific person I can shine Your light and love to today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Surrender your plans to God

God, I want my life to be lived for Your glory. In moments where it's difficult for me to surrender my plans to You, please help me to focus on Your vision for the future. I want all of my work and anything I do to point others to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Forgiving others

God, thank You for choosing to forgive me. I don’t deserve Your forgiveness, but I know You are good and loving. I want to be like You, and because You have forgiven me, I want to forgive others. Help me each day to remember Your gift of forgiveness, and release my anger towards those who have wronged me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Trust in God

God, no matter what happens, You are a firm foundation. You are my source of strength. You overwhelm my fears with Your love. With You, all things are possible. So, again, I will place my hope in You. Even when things around me seem to be crumbling, I will not be afraid—for my future is secure with You. You are always good. You are always trustworthy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Harmony

God, I know relationships aren't perfect. Please heal and restore those that are broken. Thank You for being the perfect example of a loving father. Use me to bring Your love and harmony to those around me. I want to live in a way so that my family sees Your love flowing out of me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Strength

God, all my hope is in You. You are all I need. Thank You for being my protector and the source of my strength. In every situation I face, I ask for Your courage and endurance to face it and handle it well. Please guide me with Your wisdom as I make decisions, and fill me with peace as I do what You’ve called me to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Patience in trouble

God, I am grateful for all the plans You have for my life. For the ways that You have already gone before me. Because You are in control, I can place my hope in You even when I face trouble. Going forward, please help me to have honest conversations with You when my future feels unclear. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Seek God First

God, thank You for loving me and pursuing a relationship with me. You are everything to me, and I want to seek You first each day. Please be a part of every decision, every thought, every word, and every action I have. My life is Yours. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pray continuously

God, I am so grateful that at this very moment—I am talking to You. Thank You for making it possible for me to have conversations with You. And thank You for inviting me to come just as I am before You. Today, please keep my thoughts focused on You.

Know God's promises

God, Your Word is filled with promises that offer guidance for my life. Sometimes it’s difficult to fully grasp Your promises, so please allow me to trust the depth of Your faithfulness. Light my path and give me clarity on how You want me to live. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Holiness

God, I desire to live my life for You. I need Your help to stay alert throughout the day. Help me to be aware of the things You want me to pay attention to, both good and bad. Give me the courage to step out in faith when You ask me to. Help me discern what is holy, so that I can please You in all that I do. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Strength for the journey

God, thank You for being my strength. Set my heart firmly on You and the journey You’ve called me to. When I get tired, lift me up. When I feel lost, guide me. Help me trust that You are leading me home. Amen.

Perseverance

Father, thank You that I am not alone. You are with me, and I'm not the first one to face these challenges. I'm not giving up. Please strengthen me. I want to run my race well. I'm throwing off everything that hinders and running to You. Thank You that You meet me right where I am. Amen.

God is enough

God, thank You for giving me everything I need to live a godly life. Because of Your Spirit within me, I can have victory over every addiction, fear, or sin that tries to hold me back. Thank You for being enough for me. I am so grateful that I get to know You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Praise

God, no matter my circumstances, I will still praise You. Thank You for doing great things in my past. I trust that You will continue to be present, good, and faithful in my future. In spite of worry, doubt, and pain, I can say that holy is Your name. Amen.

Be a blessing

God, you've already given me everything. Now, help me to be Your hands and feet—a true blessing in someone else's life. You have blessed me beyond measure! In turn, I want to be generous with my time, attention, and resources. Show me who I can love today. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Teach me to trust You Lord

God, thank You for being a trustworthy refuge. You are my strength and my support. You promise to take care of me and fight for me. Thank You for giving me Yourself. Today, please remind me that You are near. Teach me how to surrender and trust in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Shine the light of Jesus

God, show me how I can shine for You. Let my life be bold and bright as I share You with those around me. Give me the courage and awareness to stand for You even when things seem dark. Thank You for being our perfect example and the Light of the World! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A light in the world

God, You are the source of all goodness and wisdom. If I have light to give to the world, it’s because it comes from You. Your light is my salvation and guide. Please use me as a light in the world to show Your grace and mercy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Jesus' return

Jesus, thank You for promising to return to us. As I wait for You, help me to continue to live more like You. Help me to encourage others with Your Word and share Your love through serving others. Help me to stay ready. I’m excited for the day You come back, but until then, please guide me as I lead others toward You. Amen.

God, today I'm thinking of a very important woman in my life. Protect and guide her. Fill her with Your strength and hope. I pray she finds her confidence in You, not in the physical beauty standard of the world. Give her wisdom and a heart for You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Fully surrender

God, please show me what I'm withholding from You. I want to live fully surrendered. Teach me how to prioritize following You and loving others. No matter how difficult, I want to daily deny my self-focused desires, and seek You first. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's grace

God, thank You for sending Your Son to take on the weight of our mistakes. You demonstrated the ultimate act of love by caring for us while we were STILL sinners, and you continue to pursue us today. Thank You for giving us grace and showing us mercy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank you Lord

God, Thank You for having mercy on us. Thank You for choosing to save us through the gift of Your Son—even though we did nothing to deserve it. Every good gift that we have is because of You. So today, remind me of Your free gift of salvation, and give me the boldness to tell others about Your amazing love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Endurance

God, help me to never become tired of doing good things. As I grow closer to You, give me the endurance to serve and love others no matter how I’m feeling. I want to bring those around me closer to You—so please help me to act more like You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Know God

God, I want Your Word to be alive and active in my life. Scripture helps me examine my thoughts and convicts me to live as Jesus did. I cannot live apart from Your Word because it offers me a way to know You more deeply. Please continue to reveal Yourself to me through Scripture, and sustain me through Your Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Focus on God

God, thank You for all of the wonderful things You’ve done in my life. Sometimes when my circumstances are hard, I can forget about Your goodness. In those moments, help me to trust Your goodness and love for me. Help me to keep my focus on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Lead me to share

God, thank You for holding the door open and inviting all people to come in and be with You. Will You lead me and guide me as I watch and listen for opportunities to share Your message of hope with the people in my life? Jesus, help me to joyfully spread Your love and Your Good News. Amen.

Thankful for God's Word

God, You give us Scripture so that we can know You better. Your Word is not meant to be a list of rigid instructions, but a way of life that leads to You. The more time we spend in the Bible, the more deeply we know Your character, nature, and heart. Thank you for revealing Yourself to us in this way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
