A humble heart

God, I need You. I can’t pretend that I have my life together—because I don’t. You alone are able to help and sustain me. You alone are able to give me the strength I need to get through each day. Today, please remind me that You are in control; that You are enough for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Truth sets you free

The Fruits of the Spirit

God, I want to have a close relationship with You—not only to know You in a deeper way, but also to produce good fruit that's rooted in You. My strength

God, thank You for being my safe place. You're here for me no matter what I face, and I’m grateful I can always take refuge in You. Today, help me to come before You humbly and honestly—with complete faith. Give me the courage to surrender my concerns, and to trust You with the results. Don't worry

God, I don't want to worry, but sometimes it seems unavoidable. Will You help me to let go of the things I can't control? Teach me to turn my worries into worship. Fill my thoughts with Your peace. God is enough

God, thank You for giving me everything I need to live a life that honors You. Because of Your Spirit within me, I can have victory over every addiction, fear, or sin that tries to hold me back. Thank You for loving me, providing for me, and empowering me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Wisdom

God, thank You for sharing Your wisdom with those who seek You. As I grow closer to You, help me to think and act more like You. Today, I invite You into my decision-making. Help me to make wise choices. Show me how to handle challenging situations well. Allow me to be a living reflection of Your light and love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Establish my steps

God, You know my thoughts and desires. You know what I need, and even what I want. But my life is not my own—it's Yours. Please direct my steps. Help me to want Your will more than my own, and to act when You prompt me to step out in faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God is always ready

God, I want to believe Your promises—that You are my refuge and strength. Help me to believe it. Help my trust in You translate into actions. You know what I'm up against. And yet, I know that I can face all things with You. When I am weak, You are strong. When I am unsure, You are steady. When I am afraid, You give me courage. Thank You! Amen.

Imitate Jesus

Jesus, the world may change—but You won’t. You don’t shift. You don’t unexpectedly change Your mind or leave us. You are trustworthy, steady, and unchanging. Please help us to look to You as we go about our daily lives. Help us to follow Your example. Amen.

New life with Christ

God, I now realize that eternal life began the moment I accepted your free gifts of grace and salvation. As I follow You, please help me to remember to look up—to have an eternal mindset. Give me the wisdom to be mindful of heaven as I'm living here on earth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God is faithful

God, nothing is impossible for You. You love me even when I’m unloveable. You are good to me even when I don’t deserve it. You are kind and compassionate toward me even when I mess up. You show me what faithful love looks like. Thank You for never leaving or forsaking me! Today, remind me of all the ways You have shown up in my life. You are worthy of my worship. Love others

Our Father, forgive us for the way we prioritize being right over being loving. Help us to imitate Jesus, who taught us to love one another as he loved us. May we seek unity and walk in love. Amen.

Love God

God, I want to love You more than anything else in this world. Please help me. Shift my heart towards You. Refocus my thoughts on You. Empower me to honor You with my actions and words. Teach me what it looks like to offer every part of myself—heart, soul, and strength—to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Grace and Truth

God, I sometimes struggle to give myself grace. It can be hard to forgive myself for things that I’ve done, but I know that You have forgiven me. And because You've forgiven me, I can forgive myself—and others. There are other times when I struggle to understand Your perspective; Your truth. Help me to remember that You are God, and I am not. Invest wisely

God, You are the real treasure. Help me to align my life with Your will and Your ways. Show me how to invest my time, talents, and resources into the one thing that has eternal value—Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Show love

God, thank You for being the perfect example of love. Some people are more challenging for me to love than others. And yet, You love everyone without condition. Help me to see others through Your eyes. Make me aware of a specific person I can shine Your light and love to today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

From death to life

God, You made it possible for me to go from death to life, and to spend forever with You! I can't fully comprehend or express how amazing that is. I don't deserve this kind of unconditional love, but I'm grateful for it and overwhelmed by it. Thank You that this story isn't over, and You will have the final victory over sin and death. Amen!

Humble and gentle

God, Your Word inspires me to be humble and gentle; to lead with patience and unconditional love. But I can't live that way without Your help. Please teach me how to extend grace and forgiveness to those around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Joy in hard times

God, it's hard to keep planting seeds when I'm discouraged. When I'm heartbroken. But I know that You can use all things for Your glory and my good. Once again, I'm trusting You. I'm surrendering my plans to You—because Your ways are always better. Thank You in advance for the harvest that's to come. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Watch and wait

God, You are the perfect example of patience and grace. Thank You for being patient with me! I know there are specific areas of my life where I need to develop more patience—I surrender those areas to You, and am asking for Your help. Fill me with hope and wisdom to trust You, especially during challenging times. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Stay on guard

God, I need You. You've given me everything I need to live a godly life, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. Please help me to not waiver in my faith. Help me to be on guard against any attacks or lies from the devil. Give me the courage to be strong and stand firm in my belief in You, and to live for You every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love your enemies

God, I'm choosing to forgive them—the people who’ve caused me pain, the ones who have wronged and betrayed me. I forgive them because You have forgiven me. Transform their lives like You have transformed mine. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Walk with Jesus

God, You gave us Your Son, the light of the world. Give me the courage and strength of character to follow Jesus unconditionally. Regardless of the trials or temptations I face, I want to walk with Him. I want to experience a personal relationship with Him. I want Jesus to be the one thing I pursue above all else. Help me to shine His light to an increasingly dark world! Amen.

Endurance

God, help me to never get tired of doing good things in Your name. As I grow closer to You, give me the endurance to serve and love others well—no matter how I’m feeling. I want my life to bring those around me closer to You. Thank You for never giving up on me! Amen.

Show mercy

God, even though we mess up, hurt each other, and offend You—You still love us. You still have mercy on us. Thank You. Forgive me for all the times I’ve chosen anger and bitterness over forgiveness and compassion. Please reveal who I need to show mercy to today, and then help me to obey Your prompting. God's guidance

God, I know that in this world I will have many troubles, but I also know that You are with me. I’m grateful I can trust You to guide and protect me—no matter what I face. Watch out!

Father, guard my heart from the lie that life is measured by what I own. As Jesus warned in Luke 12:15, keep me from greed and teach me to find my joy, my security, and my identity in You alone. Fill me with gratitude, contentment, and a deeper desire for the things that last forever. Amen.

My strength

God, all my hope is in You. You are all I need. Thank You for being my protector and the source of my strength. In every situation, I ask for Your courage and endurance to face it and handle it well. Please guide me with Your wisdom as I make decisions, and fill me with peace as I do what You’ve called me to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Celebrating God

God, I believe that You are able to make all things new. You're able to mend division, restore brokenness, comfort the weary, heal the sick, and bring peace out of chaos. Nothing is too difficult for You. You are worthy of all my honor and praise. No one compares to You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Death or life

God, I submit my words to You. Please fill my mind with thoughts that honor You and other people, so that my words will bring life and encouragement to everyone I encounter. Transform me into a new person by changing the way I think—and the way I speak. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Surrender to God

God, I surrender my life to You. You can have it all—every thought, action, behavior, and desire. I want You to be glorified through me. So here I am, Lord. Take me, use me, send me, change me, clean me, transform me, love me, and love others through me. Take all that I am, and use it for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Take away my pain

Father God, thank You for deeply caring about who I am. I’m so grateful that, one day, You will take away all the pain and hardship I’ve experienced. But until that day comes, I will trust You and cling to You. I will place my hope in You. I will bring You my pain, and allow You to comfort me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love sincerely

God, please help me to listen to You and to others. Show me how to love sincerely and practically. Change the way I approach people by replacing my anger and frustration with grace, empathy, and understanding. Fill me with Your peace and love—so that my attitude and actions reflect Your character. Worthy of all our praise

God, You are worthy of all my praise, and You created me to praise You! So please show me how to worship You in all that I do. When people look back on my life, I want them to give You glory. So please teach me how to make my life an act of worship. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

My Friends

God, thank You that I don’t have to go through life alone. You are always with me, and You've put people in my life to help me. I’m grateful You created us to depend on each other and share our life experiences. Community is Your design, and I don't want to take it for granted. Help me to love and serve my friends well. When tempted

God, thank You for always providing a way out of temptation. Because I know Your Son, sin doesn’t have control over my life. But because the world isn’t fully restored yet, I still find myself tempted. Your Word says that You will be with me. Thank You! Please give me the courage to say “no” to the things that could harm me. I want to faithfully follow You at all times. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Forgiving others

God, thank You for choosing to forgive me. I don’t deserve Your forgiveness, but I'm so thankful for it. I want to be like You and, because You have forgiven me, I want to forgive others. Help me to remember Your generous gift of forgiveness, and release my anger towards those who have wronged me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Don't worry

God, You already know what I need—and even what I want. And even though life isn't perfect, I believe that You are enough for me. Your provision is enough for me. Your love is enough for me. Your grace is enough for me. So today, I surrender my worries to You. Help me to remember that You are at work in the details. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Refresh my soul

Lord, I’m running on empty and need to be refreshed. Thank You for welcoming me into Your presence. Here, I give You all of my worries and weariness. In turn, please grant me a newfound perspective and make me whole.

Help people find God

God, I want to help people find You, just as I have found You. Please guide me as I share Your love with those around me. Help me to represent You well. God, sometimes it’s hard to surrender my life to You. I make the mistake of thinking my plans are better than Yours.
