My friends

God, thank You that I don’t have to go through life alone. I’m grateful You created us to depend on one another and share our life experiences with others. Community is Your design, and I pray that I won’t take it for granted. Help me to love and serve my friends well. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

In my weakness

God, my heart is heavy. I release my burdens to You. I lay them down and surrender them to You. Thank You for holding me in my weakness and weariness. Show me how to rest and refuel in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Eternal life

God, I am so grateful for the good news of Jesus and my eternal relationship with You. Help me each day to share Your Word with those around me so they can experience Your love. Help me to live a life that honors You and inspires others to love You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Peace in all circumstances

God, thank You for promising to bring me peace. In every situation, help me to continue to keep my mind on You and Your good promises. Because I trust in Your control, I know I don’t have to be anxious about anything. Please remind me every day of this truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Do what is good

God, when I am overwhelmed by the brokenness I see, help me to remember that You see me. You are in control. I might not be able to stop all the pain and injustice I witness, but I can help overcome evil by doing good. Please help me to do that. Give me the courage and humility to love people well today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thriving faith

God, thank You for Your grace and the gift of salvation. My eternity is secure in You because of Your great love. Teach me what it means to be godly. Help me say "yes" to the things that bring You joy, and "no" to the things I shouldn't do. Give me discernment to know the difference. In Jesus' name, Amen.
