Peace in God

God, I believe in You. No matter what comes my way, I believe You have overcome the world. Even though trouble is ever-present, You are my constant source of peace. You surround me and protect me. Nothing is too difficult for You to accomplish. I will praise You because You are the One in whom I trust—You are in control. Amen.

Be still

God, You alone are all-knowing, present, and powerful. You are the God who created the heavens and the earth, the sun and the moon, and all of creation. All people will come to know Your glory and goodness. Please help me to submit my will to Yours so that I can fulfill the purpose You have created for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

In my weakness

God, thank You for giving me Yourself. Thank You for empowering me to face whatever comes my way. Help me to remember that even when I’m weak, You are still strong. And You can take the hardest of situations and turn it around for Your glory and my good. So please help me to glorify You with all that I am. Let my weaknesses become windows that Your glory shines through. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Imitating God

God, I truly desire to imitate and know You! When people see me, I also want them to see You. Guide me as I seek to follow You with my whole heart. Bring godly people into my life. Surround me with positive relationships, so I can better imitate You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Step of faith

Jesus, thank You for calling me to share Your love. Please open my eyes to see one person who needs You this week. Help me to take a specific step to show kindness, speak with courage, and trust You with the outcome. In Your name, Amen.

God calms all our fears

God, I am amazed that You delight in me! Thank You for seeing me not for my imperfections, but as Your child who delights in You. Help me to never lose focus on You, Your guidance, and Your love. I want You to be the most important part of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
