Who do you live for?

God, thank You for loving me even when I get caught up in pleasing others. Sometimes I get so focused on what the world thinks that I forget I am not made for this world. Please refocus my heart and guide me to live for You—even if society tells me otherwise. In Jesus' name, Amen.

God is faithful

God, thank You for Your faithful love! I can’t lose it. I can’t earn more of it. Your love is more limitless and abounding than I could ever imagine. Thank You for freely giving it to me, and teaching me how to freely love others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank God

God, sometimes my circumstances are challenging, but I know there are so many things to be grateful for. Please bring Your many blessings to my mind. Thank You for giving me life, and an opportunity to have a relationship with You. You're always looking out for me—even when I don't realize it. I love you, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Praying for church leaders

God, thank You for the people in my life who have pointed me back to You. Thank You for working through Your people, and using them for Your glory! I also want to help others know your love and grace. Please give me opportunities to invest in Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Wisdom

God, thank You for Your Word—which provides real truth and wisdom. Remind me to seek You first, because You know all things, and You care about what's best for me. Place wise people in my life and open my mind to learn from them. I long for real, authentic wisdom that comes from Your Spirit. In Jesus' name, Amen.

A changed mind

God, thank You for the gift of Your Spirit. Your Spirit is always with me, shaping my character. Today, I want to make an intentional decision to trust You by allowing Your Spirit to guide me. Please change the way I think and act so that my whole life revolves around You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Do not fear

God, You know exactly what I’m going through. You’re not surprised or intimidated by it. Thank You for always being close; for standing by me through the good and bad. You never fail me. Today, please remind me that You're right here—closer than I can fathom. Remind me that I have nothing to fear, and give me the courage to live boldly for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's faithfulness

God, thank You for the mercy of a brand new day. When the troubles of my heart feel endless—You are still faithful. When I am tired, overwhelmed, burnt out, or grieving—Your love still covers me. Thank You for showing me kindness every day. Your mercies are truly endless, and Your steadfast love endures forever. Great is Your faithfulness! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Be led by God

God, thank You that You are the same God who has always led Your people—present, active, creative, faithful. You are with me! You will never forsake me. I can face any challenge without fear. I submit my life to Your will. Please lead me in the direction You want me to go. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Be a light

God, thank You for creating light, and for sending Your Son to be the Light of the world! Without it, I would be lost in darkness. Give me a passion to want others to experience Your Light. Empower me with boldness and love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Rest for the weary

Jesus, You know exactly what I need. You know where I'm suffering and how I'm hurting, and You are gentle with me. Thank You. You want me to approach You and give You all my concerns, so here I am. I need You, and I'm looking to You. Please help me to carry this heavy weight, and give me Your rest in return. Amen.

Carry each other's burdens

God, help me to be quick to help others, and willing to accept help when I need it. Please empower me to love others well—to be a good listener, to act when I see a need, to welcome accountability, and to pray for the people in my life. Help me to become more like You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Time for a breakthrough

God, there are some hard parts of my heart that need to be broken up. Help me. I want to sow seeds of faith, hope, and love—not anger, resentment, and bitterness. I surrender those hard parts to You! Today, I want to walk in Your righteousness and be covered by Your blessings. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Rejoice

Father, thank you for being with me through the weeping, and leading me back to joy. Lord, help me learn to make lament a language of my faith. Guide me through the healing process, and anchor me in the hope I find in your Word. In Jesus’ strong name, Amen.

A humble heart

God, I need You. I can’t pretend that I have my life together—because I don’t. You alone are able to help and sustain me. You alone are able to give me the strength I need to get through each day. Today, please remind me that You are in control; that You are enough for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Truth sets you free

God, no matter what anyone else says, You are truth and Your Word is true! I want to live in freedom, not in fear. Show me how to be bold. Lead me out of hiding in darkness to embracing the light of Your truth. Thank You for showing me the path to freedom. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Help in weakness

Jesus, we come to you—hearts broken at the condition of our world. In this moment of overwhelm, we look to you. We pray in your name, Lord Jesus, that our nations and world would be renewed because of Your power, mercy, and love. For your glory. Amen.

Wisdom and Knowledge

God, You are the true source of wisdom and knowledge. Please teach me more about Your ways—so that I can know and follow You better. Guide my actions and words. I want to live a life that honors You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Fruits of the Spirit

God, I want to have a close relationship with You—not only to know You in a deeper way, but also to produce good fruit that's rooted in You. Such fruit is a natural outpouring of knowing You and Your love. Help me to be more joyful, peaceful, patient, kind, good, and faithful. Strengthen my relationship with You so that Your fruit becomes a natural part of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

My strength

God, thank You for being my safe place. You're here for me no matter what I face, and I’m grateful I can always take refuge in You. Today, help me to come before You humbly and honestly—with complete faith. Give me the courage to surrender my concerns, and to trust You with the results. I invite You to be my source of strength in every area of life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Don't worry

God, I don't want to worry, but sometimes it seems unavoidable. Will You help me to let go of the things I can't control? Teach me to turn my worries into worship. Fill my thoughts with Your peace. I give every anxious thought to You! Today, show me opportunities to serve You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God is enough

God, thank You for giving me everything I need to live a life that honors You. Because of Your Spirit within me, I can have victory over every addiction, fear, or sin that tries to hold me back. Thank You for loving me, providing for me, and empowering me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
