New nature

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there.

God, thank You for giving me a new nature. Because of Jesus, I can know You personally and draw close to You daily. I don’t want to take this for granted, so today I surrender the desires that pull me away from You. Align my will with Your will so that I might know I belong to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
