Freed from fear

I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.

God, sometimes, it’s hard for me to turn to You when I’m afraid, but I trust that You will answer me when I seek You. I know You hear my anxious thoughts—so I give them to You. Please give me peace in return, and help me to trust Your control. No matter what happens in my life, I trust that You are good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
