Seek God's help first

God, I'm grateful that You know everything I’m going through—the good and the bad. Today, I want to run to You first. You alone are my source of strength. You alone have everything I need. So here I am, asking for Your help. Please rescue me. And help me to be a refuge for others as well. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A Gracious Heart

God, when I come to You with humility, You never hold my mistakes against me. Because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, all my mistakes are paid for. I never want to cheapen Your gracious gift by refusing to show mercy or kindness to others. So please remove any hurt or division from my heart, and show me where I need to do good to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Unity

God, You alone can unite Your children. You make sinful hearts clean. You make broken families whole. You make divided nations return to You. Help me remember Your power to unite, and Your will for togetherness. Mend the divisions You see in me, and mend the divisions You see in the world. In Jesus' name, Amen.

United by Christ

God, You know how much division there is in this world. I pray Your Church will be an example of the unity only Your love can bring. Help me to foster unity in every environment I step into, seeking to understand and keeping my focus on Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Real rest

God, my heart is heavy, but I release my burdens to You. I lay them down and surrender them to You. Thank You for holding me in my weakness and weariness. Show me how to rest and refuel in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

No one like our God

God, I am grateful for Your continual presence. I'm amazed that You delight in me! Thank You for seeing me not for my imperfections, but as Your child. Help me to never lose focus on You, Your guidance, and Your love. I want You to be the most important part of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Treasure in heaven

God, open my eyes to what's driving me. To what I'm truly devoting myself to. Help me as I fight against selfish desires. When people see my life, I want them to see You at the center. Refocus my heart and mind on You, my eternal treasure. In Jesus' name, Amen.

True humility

Jesus, You have shown me what true humility looks like by giving up Your life for my sake. Today, as I interact with other people, help me to consider others before myself. And help me to do this not from a place of insecurity—but because I know who I am and I love who You are. Amen.

Be ready all the time

Jesus, thank You for promising to return to us. As I wait for You, help me to continue to live more like You. Help me to encourage others with Your Word and share Your love by serving others. I’m excited for the day You come back. But until then, please guide me as I lead others toward You! Amen.

Live like it matters

Jesus, I don’t want to lose what matters most by focusing on momentary things. So please help me. Renew me. When I am tired, please strengthen me. When living a comfortable life seems more appealing than following You—please convict and correct me. Give me the strength to trust in You. I know that You are worth living and dying for, but please help me to live like it. Amen.

Be the example

God, use me to be an example for You. I want to magnify Your glory wherever I go. Thank You for choosing me, no matter my age or ability. I am not too broken or messed up for You to use me. Empower me as I seek to love, lead, and live like You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Praise the Lord

God, thank You for showing me Your mercy and faithfulness. You are my healer, restorer, rescuer, conqueror, and provider. You give me Your strength, joy, peace, and love. No one compares to You. You are my God, and You are worthy of all my praise! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Remain in the Lord

Jesus, I want to be in Your presence at all times. Thank You for promising to remain in me as I remain in You. I want to be as close to You as possible—to hear how Your heart beats for those who love You. As I stay connected to You, please use me for Your purposes—to serve and love those around me each day. Amen.

A generous heart

God, thank You for caring for the needs of Your people. You give me everything I need—everything I have is Yours. So please use me and what I have to fulfill the needs of others. Even when it feels hard to be generous, please help me to be willing to give everything You've given me for the good of others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's glory

God, whatever I do, please help me to do it for Your glory. When I’m talking to other people—let it be for Your glory. When I’m working—let it be for Your glory. When I’m spending time with family and friends—let it be for Your glory. In all that I say and do, let me do it for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A light in the world

God, You are the source of all goodness and wisdom. If I have light to give to the world, it’s because it comes from You. Your light is my salvation and guide. Please use me as a light in the world to show Your grace and mercy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Be transformed

God, thank You for Your Word! What a gift to me. Thank You for the opportunity to renew my mind with Truth every day. It changes everything, including the way I think—so that I can be transformed. With You, I can be made new. Thank You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Know God's presence

God, continue to be the focus of my daily life. Make Your presence known to me. Draw me close to You so that way I can know You more deeply. I want to seek You all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Sabbath

Lord Jesus, You are wise and good in all things. Thank you for creating both work and rest as a blessing. Teach me to rest regularly and to receive it as the gift You made it to be. I need wisdom and faith to do this. Amen.

Do not lose heart

God, please help me to not lose heart. When I look at the world around me, it's easy to get overwhelmed and discouraged. When that happens, I will remember to take heart—because You are renewing me. Help me to recall all the ways You are at work in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Made new

God, You made a way when there was no way! You sent Your Son, Jesus, to make a way to new life in You. Thank You. This truth changes everything. It changes me. I surrender my life to You. I want to be made new. Thank You for making a way! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
