For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile.
Romans 1:16 NLT
Scripture tells us that we should always be ready to share the hope that we have. Sometimes that is easier said than done. We are scared of being rejected and even ridiculed for our faith, let alone sharing it.
God is not ashamed of His children. So much so that He sent His Son to die for our sins. We have to remember that. If He loves us that much we need to love Him that much. If we do, we will not be ashamed to share the Good News.
Another thing we must remember is that sharing our faith comes in many different forms. As Christians we are representatives of Jesus. So everything we do or say is sharing our faith.
Being there for family and friends. Smiling and saying hi to someone. Holding open a door. Praying with someone in a time of need. Telling them about the Good News of Jesus Christ. These are all outward expressions of our faith. Sometimes by actions, sometimes by word, and sometimes by both.
Pray today about how you can share your faith with others.
