Our good Father

God, thank You for being a good Father. I am so grateful I can always rely on You. You give me gifts I don’t even realize I should be asking You for. You bless me abundantly, and shower me with mercy and love. Thank You for having compassion on me. Thank You for calling me Your child. I am so grateful to call You my Father! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Transform my heart

God, I confess that I have not always been the person You’ve created me to be. There are times when I fail to love You with my whole heart, mind, and soul. I don't always love my neighbors as You love them. Please forgive me, God. Transform my heart and renew my mind so that I can draw closer to You, and point others to the redemption You offer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Spiritual breakthrough

Jesus, thank You for sending Your Spirit to be with us at all times. Because You are with me today, I know I can have freedom in every area of my life. Holy Spirit, help me to break loose from anything holding me back. Only You can define who I am, and—because of You—I'm no longer restricted by the painful things in my life. Thank You for the freedom that is found in You! Amen.

Live like Jesus

Jesus, thank You for modeling how to live a God-honoring life. I know I mess up sometimes, but I trust that—with Your guidance—I can learn to become more like You. I believe in you, Jesus. Help me to live what I speak, and to follow Your example. Amen.

Love each other

God, You have modeled what great love looks like. Help me to live and love like You! Thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit to help me live this out. I want to prioritize others, serve the people around me, and share the love of Jesus with those who need it most. Amen.

Justice and mercy

God, please show me how to love You and Your people. Align my heart with Your will, and help me to make decisions that bring You glory and honor. Help me to see myself accurately so that I can love others fully. Show me how to show justice and mercy to those who need it—because those are actions that delight You and show that I am Your child. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Loving others

God, sometimes it’s hard to love certain people in my life. But even when they've been unkind, or have hurt someone I love, I want to choose to love them—because You love them. Even when it’s challenging, give me the strength to model Your grace, forgiveness, and love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Step out in faith

God, I am so grateful that I get to be a part of Your great story. Thank You for having a plan and a purpose for my life. Help me not to shrink back in fear, but to step out in faith and do what You’ve called me to do. Remind me each day that I am enough for You, and You are enough for me. Thank You for always looking out for me! And for leading me every step of the way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's presence

God, You know me. You know what I'm facing, and what I’ve already overcome. Please draw near to me right now. Remind me that You are near. Show me glimpses of Your faithfulness in this season. Restore my hope and my joy, and teach me how to fully place my trust in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love like God loves

God, You are the model of love. Help me to show love to others as You've shown it to me. Let my actions prove that I love and trust You, and that I care about the people You created. Fill me with Your Spirit as I seek to glorify You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Wisdom

God, You are more than willing to share Your never-ending wisdom with me. Thank you! I want to honor You with everything I am, and everything I do. Please make me eager to listen to and discern Your voice. Give me a craving for Your ways and a desire to obey You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

While I wait

God, I often want immediate solutions for my problems. It can be so hard to wait, but I know that Your timing and Your ways are perfect. As I wait for You, help me to learn from the current situation I’m in—focusing on the blessings I currently have, and praising You for all the things You’re still going to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pursuing righteousness

God, when I feel weak, remind me that You are strong. And when I feel like giving up, give me the strength to persevere. Show me what it means to pursue righteousness—no matter the cost. I want every aspect of my life to glorify You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Peacemakers

God, please help me to live at peace with others. Even when people hated, mocked, and even unjustly condemned You—You still showed them love, mercy, and forgiveness. And You invite us to experience and share Your perfect peace. Make me eager to spread peace instead of fear, and love instead of hate. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A pure heart

God, I want my heart to be a reflection of your character—pure! Please reveal the areas of my life and heart that are not in line with Your Word. Help me to let go of the bitterness, disappointment, and hurt I'm currently holding onto. I surrender my whole heart to You—please transform me from the inside out. I want to see You up close! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A merciful heart

God, Your nature is to offer mercy. When people meet me, I want them to know that You live inside of me. Give me opportunities to demonstrate Your mercy to those around me. As my faith grows, please give me a deeper ability to offer mercy to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Hunger and thirst

God, You put the thirst and hunger for righteousness in my heart, and You alone can satisfy it. Please help me to hold onto the hope that You offer, and to show Your love to everyone. Give me the patience to endure an imperfect world as I wait for You to come back and make all things right. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Be humble

God, thank You for welcoming me into Your kingdom. Thank You for accepting me, even though I don't have it all together. I'm reminded that Your power is sufficient for all my needs, so help me to lean on Your strength today. Please help me walk gently and humbly with those I encounter. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Comfort in times of grief

God, You see those who mourn, and You promise to comfort them. Please bring healing to our hearts when we grieve. Give hope to those feeling hopeless, and strength to anyone feeling overwhelmed. Show us how close You are in the midst of our mourning. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Help me Lord

God, help me. Here I am—I need You. I have nothing without You. You are the giver of every good and perfect gift, and You are all I need. Please restore my hope and joy, and draw me closer to You. Make me aware of how You are at work in my life, and teach me how to rejoice in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Peace and rest

God, there are real hardships in my life that I'm trying to surrender to You. Please help me. I want to remember that You are always good, sovereign, and in control. Once again, I’m trusting in Your provision, protection, and plans. Because I know You care about every need and desire I have, I can rest. Give me peace as I recall that You are worthy of my trust.
