The Spirit of God

God, You created this world. You're the source of every good thing. You even bring dead things back to life! Thank You for defeating death on the cross and making a way for me to live forever. Help me to spend my days honoring You and telling others about Your love. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Rest

God, I can sleep peacefully because You care for me and my future. Today, I commit my concerns to You. Give me peace-filled rest so that I can rise joyfully and do all that You've called me to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Help me to listen

God, I’m grateful that I can come to You with any and every situation—knowing You always hear me. Today, I bring You my questions, my concerns, and my tentative plans for the future. Please help me to hear Your voice above the rest, and trust Your direction for my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Sacrificial love

Jesus, thank You for Your love. You gave everything. You showed me how to love sacrificially. I can’t love others in this way without Your help. Help me know how much You love me and, from that place, love others in a way that points them to You. Amen.

Praise!

God, thank You for being unstoppable, unchangeable, all-powerful, and incomparable. You alone are worthy of all my praise, honor, and glory! Your love endures forever, and I am forever grateful for who You are. Thank You for making a way for me to know You personally. Nothing compares to You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Trust the Shepherd

God, my Good Shepherd, thank You for carrying me close to Your heart. Lead me today with Your kindness and care. Remind me that I’m never alone, and give me the strength to trust You as I follow You. Amen.
