God is enough

By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.

God, thank You for giving me everything I need to live a godly life. Because of Your Spirit within me, I can have victory over every addiction, fear, or sin that tries to hold me back. Thank You for being enough for me. I am so grateful that I get to know You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God will calm your fears

For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”

God, I am amazed that You delight in me! Thank You for seeing me not for my imperfections, but as Your child who delights in You. Help me to never lose focus on You, Your guidance, and Your love. I want You to be the most important part of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Wisdom

‭James 3:13 NLT‬

If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom.

God, please show me how to live an honorable life. Show me how to love others like You have loved me. Show me how to honor and worship You with my life. Give me Your wisdom. Teach me how to live, so that I might live for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's knowledge

Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment.

God, when I think about who You are and all that You’ve done, it overwhelms me. I am filled with awe and wonder at how powerful yet merciful You are. Deepen my knowledge of Your love and faithfulness. Fill me with wisdom that only comes from knowing You. Be the foundation of my life so that way my life reflects You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Trust in God

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

God, I know that You are good and wise. But sometimes it's hard for me to trust Your plan over my own. Please help me! Take control of my anxious thoughts and fill me with Your wisdom. Thank You that I don’t have to navigate this life alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's peace

Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

God, by Your grace, You have offered me a relationship with You. I can be known by You, and I can know You. Thank You for giving me peace that extends beyond my feelings and circumstances.
