Hope and encouragement from God's Word

Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled.

Romans 15:4 NLT

God, thank You for giving me Scripture. Your Word is a constant reminder that I am not alone or unknown. You care about the world You created, and the people You died for. So today, I wait patiently for You to act. I know that You will keep Your promises toward me, but please encourage me and give me hope as I wait. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
