Do What God's Word Says - February 28, 2021

But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.

God, I don’t want people to just read Your Word—I want them to apply it to their lives. I want Your words to shape the way we think and behave. I want our lives to be transformed by the Good News that You have freely given us. So please help us to do what Your Word says. Make our lives ones that honors You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
